I am 45 years old and I was looking to tighten up my double chin with the Lifestyle Lift. That did not happen. Days after my procedure I developed blood clots around my mouth and chin. These were removed by reopening the incision under my chin using localized numbing only, flushing the area with solution and suction. All of this occurred while I was awake, aware and watching. I saw the doctor for 2 follow-up appointments where I told him that my ears and chin bothered me. He flat out told me to wait 6 months before coming back to complain! He said that after 6 months the chin would snap into place and I would be pleased. That hasn't happened, in fact, I have large distinct lumps on the sides of my neck that I didn't have before. My ears lobes were cut away from their original position on my face and stretched and sown to my neck. They look elf-ish and strange. I have bad scarring on one ear and no scarring on the other and a visible scar on my chin. My smile is uneven and I can't tell you how difficult it is to look in the mirror. Don't have a Liftstyle Lift!
