3rd R20 treatment
WORTH IT$600
I had my third tattoo removal treatment yesterday. Like the others, no pain during the procedure due to the lidocane shots. They are both very red and sore right now. Last time my neck too about 5 days to heal and my abdomen took about 9-10 days. My doctor said it would be about 3-4 more treatments before this last one so it should be 2-3 more. I really hope he's right!!

2nd R20 treatment done
I just had my second R20 treatment done on my two tattoos. Again, no pain during the procedure. The tat in my abdomen is really red and sore and the one in the back of my neck has several blisters but doesn't really hurt. It has been only 3 days so I don't yet know how much fading there is, as it took 1-2 weeks to really see this free my first treatment.
I will try to get pics up soon and will update my results as I see them!

I had my first R20 treatment done a few weeks ago...
I had my first R20 treatment done a few weeks ago on two tattoos, one on my abdomen and one on the back of my neck, both black. The treatment itself was pretty painless, as they numbed me completely ahead of time. The little needles of the numbing stuff was slightly uncomfortable but nothing compared to what I have heard tattoo removal feels like when you aren't numb, so this was well worth it.
Both of the tattoos had a little blistering for a day or two and then the one on my abdomen had significant peeling for a couple weeks. The one on my neck heeled very quickly (and has had much less ink reduction), so maybe the laser needs to be turned up or something on that one? I kept them covered with Aquaphor and a bandage for a week or so and then still keep them moisturized with either Aquaphor or another lotion to try to keep the skin as healhty as possible for the next treatment.
The tattoo on my abdomen has seen a huge reduction, maybe 40-50%, but it had a lot of shading and areas where the ink wasn't too dense. The outline, which is denser, is still pretty dark in some areas. The one on my neck is slowly fading, and has seen maybe 15-20% reduction, but was a very dense black tattoo to begin with.
I go for treatment 2 in a couple weeks and I can't wait to see the results after the next treatment!

That is awesome that they numbed you completely. I'm assuming they did that with shots, is that right?
Yes a bunch of lidacane shots. They didn't feel great but I assume it was nothing as bad as the tattoo removal laser is!
Good luck with your treatments, it's nice to see results!
aloha flower777 Yes, the clinic where I go also uses lidocaine shots, they are included in the treatment (AKA free!!). The R20 is amazing, I had it two months ago and although I'm battling very dry skin from it, the fading is amazing, not much fat in the area that is being lasered. Last night someone asked me how long I've had the offending ink and they were amazed it wasn't years old. Good luck with the fading...aloha...k

That is exciting that your doctor thinks you are down to your final few treatments! Fingers crossed that turns out to be the case!
