I have spent far too long disliking how I look out of a bra and even in one. I just looked at some pictures from High School and all I see is a big chest. I have had three consultations with 3 different doctors and decided immediately on the third. Within minutes of my consult I scheduled my surgery and now am just counting the days until I go from a large D to an average B. I don't care if I look small for my frame, 5'9', I'm not tall and thin but broad shouldered and athletic. If I want to make them a little bigger for some crazy reason, I can buy a padded bra!

One more week to deal with these girls...Met with my PS this week, all my post ops were good, off all meds to ensure minimal bleeding and optimal healing. Cannot wait to go down in size!!! D/DD to B+/C. I was very clear that I want the girls to be as small as possible but PS was sure to inform me that safety and blood supply will be the determining factor in final size... Please let the supply be enough to get me down to a B!

Tomorrow is the day! From a large D to small C or B!!! Yay! Not nervous a bit, but cannot wait to see my new little girls...

One day after surgery and all is well. Outpatient surgery went very well, in at 8am out at 2pm. Left with drains but very little discharge so far. Pain is manageable with meds. Took a shower this morning, hardest part was washing my hair, but with a bit of help I got it all taken care of.

Worst part now is the itching from the tape on the incisions....any suggestions?

Glad I finally did this for myself, went from a 40 D+ to 36 B (at least that is the size of the support bra)

I have to say my experience with Dr. Soto and staff was top notch! Very pleased.

Day 3- Still taking it easy but pain is at a 2, and drainage is down under 10cc per side. I cannot believe how good I feel. I have been taking Vitamin K and Arnica daily per my PS recommendation as well as using Arnica topically to relieve pain. So far so good!!
Cannot wait til Tuesday when I visit my PS for my first follow up. Hope to get the drains removed, they are just cumbersome.

Overall, very pleased with my results and feel very fortunate with my recovery.

The drains came out today. That was an odd sensation! But it feels so much better without the tubes and collection bulbs! PS was very happy with results so far! Shape is excellent, as is healing progress. I return next Monday for tape change. I hope that feels a bit better than drain removal.

Just had my week 3 post op visit. My PS thinks my results are excellent and after another 2 weeks, should be able to remove the tape for good and begin scar treatment. The nurse commented that I will have minimal to no scarring! Very excited... the suture removal was a bit of an ouch but very minor. So very glad I had this surgery...looks like I will be a small C or full B....either way happy to have perky smaller girls!

Finally...the suture tape is off! Not that it was much trouble or annoyance, just making progress. I began scar treatment yesterday now that the tape is permanently off AND get to transition from the surgical compression bras to regular bras. I was encouraged not to wear underwire bras for a while as they can press on the scars and irritate the area. No problem as the new perky girls don't need much help looking good in any bra and besides I wore underwires for years, a break will be just great! I posted some new pics, I am so very happy with the results so far and am excited to get back to some yoga and spinning...have to wait another week to play golf.

I can see the tear drop shape now, I am so very pleased with the outcome so far. I am back to working out, sleeping on my stomach doing everything as pre-surgery except buying D/DD bras and shirts to fit the girls! I am still sleeping in a bra, not the surgical compression one just the Barely There Bandini, I use the compression for workouts...I want to minimize gravity as much as possible...I'd hate to lose these perky girls! I can only say why did I ever wait so long to have this surgery.
Orlando Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Soto and his entire staff are true professionals. He spent quality time with me at the initial consult, during my pre-op visit and then on the day of surgery. I felt completely at ease with him and with his entire staff.
