“Iam finally on that coveted list of postop tt's”

I am so excited..I have been dreaming about having a TT for years. Saw my PS 11-17 and TT scheduled for 3-16-12. Downloaded a countdown app for my droid phone.

67 days left to go, its going by quick. I am hoping to get to my goal weight of 135lbs by then. I am currently 145 lbs and 5ft 4in. Have lost 50 lbs over the last couple of years and just have never been able to get rid of tummy. Will be posting some before pics soon..

WOW 59 days to go. Thinking about adding lipo to inner and outer thighs but have heard sometimes you are lumpy with saggy skin after. Is there anyone who has had inner and outer thigh lipo with tummy tuck who can give me some insight as to how it went for them?

47 days to go. Went on Thursday and paid for my TT..Makes feel more real now. Just cant't wait for this jelly belly to be gone.

Just had my pre-op call. I am the first case of the day, surgery will be at 730am. Only 10 days left. I am so ready to be on the other side...

POD #1, had surgery at 730 am and was home by 1 PM. Lots of pain and swelling. I haven't seen my belly yet but my husband says it looks it looks awesome when he was changing my dressing. My husband has been extremely sweet, waiting on me hand and foot. I will post some pics this afternoon.

POD #2. I am extremely swollen and everything feels very taut. I have weird random burning sensations. I have 3 drains which also burns at the insertion sites. I know it is temporary so trying to stay positive.

POD #3. I feel like crap. My back is killing me, I am swollen, I am constipated, so I took some MOM and now I have horrible gas pains. I don't mean to be a debbie downer. I know I just need to hang in there and it will get better. Thank God I have an awesome husband who has been waiting on me. I am draining a little less from my drains hopefully by Thursday when I see my PS he will take them out.

Postop day #8
Still have my drains. Uggghhhhh! They won't come out until next Thursday. Still have lots of swelling but am getting around much better. Alomost standing straight. Can't wait until drains come out. They are a pain in the ass....

Feeling great. I can now sleep on my side at night. Stomach feels very tight. I still have my drains and they are starting to bug me, they pinch at the insertion site, it is hard to go anywhere with 3 drains I try to hide them under my shirt but it looks like I am trying to shop lift something. I am waiting for someone to stop me on my way out of the store and demand to see whats under my shirt. LOL. I see my PS on Thursday and pray I get all 3 drains out. I am standing almost straight now. Still swell like crazy. I can't wait until I can start running again and take off my last 20lbs.

Feeling great. Doing some light housekeeping, have to force myself not to over do it. I go see PS on Thursday and pray I get drains out. I have been having less than 25cc per drain over last several days. Lipo areas are still sore and have lots of swelling on hips, my lower back and hips are numb. I can stand straight and have been sleeping without my wedge pillow. My stomach is so flat, I love it. We go to Pensacola Beach at the end of June and I am so excited to go bikini shopping...

I had all 3 drains removed today. Yaaaaaa. It did not hurt at all. I feel great. I just have weird random censations in my belly. Now I am just waiting to get the clearance to start working out again.
