Well it's been almost 36 hours since surgery. It's been rough. I was so nauseous all night last night I could not take any pain meds. So I was up all night. :( but it's getting better. So far they look great, just really swollen obviously. He ended up using 470cc's on both sides. I think they will be perfect. I will add pics tomorrow. Stay tuned!

I have several friends that have used this surgeon. Although i am traveling 3-4 hours to see him, i think it is worth the drive! All of his work that i have seen is awesome, and every time someone asks where i am going, i tell them Dr.Metcalf and they say "oh i have a friend or know someone who went to him and they are very happy". This gives me a piece of mind. Also his nurse Amy is wonderful! She makes you feel "at home". :D

oh im so happy to see your post! i just booked metcalf this morning and i am coming from out of town too. so ive done everything online so far and then will meet with him next friday morning and then go into surgery :) im so excited but im getting really nervous. was this the same way you set up the BA?

I have heard great things about your Dr. too. When you post pics, would you please post one of your underarm incisions? I was also wondering why your friend has had 3 surgeries? Has she had complications with hers in the past? Thanks and congratulations!!

I would love to know of your final outcome with photos as I am thinking about this doctor and there is very little reviews online or photos. Hope all is well!

I have had mine for 3 years now! The experience was great, he was easy to follow up with after. (I was 3 hours away so we did photo follow ups weekly my email). The staff was great and I have zero complaints. I get so many compliments about how great they look and how natural they look with NO gap like most people end up with. I 100% recommend! And think making the trip to see Metcalf is worth it. (Can't beat his pricing either)

Well it's 2:46 am! I can't sleep anymore! Time to get up, shower and hit the road. My dad is going with me for my surgery bc my husband cannot take off today. But him and his mother will be here for the next 4 days watching my son and helping me. So that's good. I am sure my dad can manage! He better! Lol I am keeping myself calm as of now. Several friends and co-workers have given words of encouragement over the last week. Like "I am the biggest baby and if I can do it you can do it" or "I was a nervous wreck going into my surgery, but I would do it all agian, it is so worth it" so I just keep telling myself that. And also it's something I know I will love and not regret, so I just am keeping my excitement up thinking about that. One of my best friends has already had two sets of implants and for the last three years we have said when she gets hers redone and I get mine we want to do it together, and we finally are! My surgery is first thing at 9am hers is later today at 1pm. So that makes this experience a special one! I told her we are now "boob sisters"!! Lol ok look at me rambling on...... Nervous? Just a little so far. I will update soon.
