43 5'1" and 132lbs w/30JJ's. I have never been small started as a 32DD in HS and went from there. I have 2 grown children and I really don't believe I was this big when I was pregnant w/them. I'm in constant pain and beginning this journey again w/the insurance co. Im ready to be without pain. Yay

Well it's been 2 weeks since I've seen the new PS...its really depressing to play the waiting game. Reading all the posts and seeing the photos gives me hope.

I've been reading but not updating, I have been a little depressed because the process is taking so long. Yesterday I FINALLY got my letter from my primary doctor. I know it was because I had to go to my followup but I'm still happy none the less. Everyone's updates are very informative and it's great to see all the results, good and bad. Tomorrow I send the letter to my PS so he can forward all to insurance...I know my time is coming soon.

Just found out that my PS is no longer doing Breast Reductions...why? Because they take too long...WTH!!! Obviously its all about the money and not helping people...now trying to find a new one.

I'm suppose to have an appt w/new ps tomorrow;...

I'm suppose to have an appt w/new ps tomorrow; whether is bad so I'm hoping I can make it in. I'm so happy for all of those who've had the surgery or just go approved, I just hope my time is soon.

Ok so I met with the new PS today...I liked her and her staff. She asked if I had a choice would I want to be 'too small' or 'too large' and since I've never had the experience of being 'too small' I chose that option. LOL She also said that she would take between 750-1000 grams out of each boob...if that happens, I will be at my target weight w/out working out...yay me. Now I start the waiting game again but I feel so positive that this time is my tim

I've been reading all the posts and I must say everyone that's crossed over your pups are amazing. So happy for you all. Keep updating all your experiences for all us waiting our time. Be patient for the end result, as I understand it it could be 6 months before you are there. Happy healing...be blessed.

Getting closer, had my preop yesterday had all my questions answered. I'm not too sure I can handle the drains but my daughter will be here to help me. She is a future nurse so she can take care of mom. Lol. I am sooo ready to be small but I'm really nervous too. I told her to go as small as possible but I don't have a clue what that would be. I see everyone getting extra sports bras one band size greater but I tried my on for giggles and laughs an I don't see how it will work. Being 29 in the rib cage was/is really had to shop for. Oh well I have 11days to find one.

With 9 days to go I'm down 8lbs. Woohoo!

My Doctor: Anureete Bajaj

This is my 2nd go around, my original choice turned out to not be as concerned about me and/or my money. After I was denied the 1st time for lack of information(from the DR). I have changed DR's and this one made me feel very comfortable from the time he shook my hand. He seemed to geniuely be concerned and advised that him and I will really get to know each other over the months after surgery because he does follows on a regular basis. I found him by viewing his website and calling in December the nurse was very helpful. She wanted me to wait until the new year because he had a few cases already dealing with the insurance companies and wanted to finalize them.

I'm hoping to be a full B or small C...I told her to go as small as she can with the blood supply she has. She believes that she will take 1000 off each side, I'm hope so. I'm getting older and my back is already curved so I need as much weight off as possible.

Just curious, what size do you hope be post-op? You have a nice figure an any size is going to look good on you.

Seems you've been waiting a long time. Perhaps it would help to call the insurance company? I do hope you'll be approved soon, those puppies look heavy!

I am so sorry to hear that ur STILL plating the waiting game...i was approved in a day...yes a day..like the next day...and i know someone thats been waiting for 2 years...idk whats going on..im praying that you get yourrs approved Fast..supernaturally fast!

Wow, frustrating, but just keep going and you'll get there. People have told me to try losing weight , but if it was that easy everyone would do it. LOL

Waiting I'm told is the worst.. You can see my profile I've waited so long for my date and go back and forth with the emotions daily..... Now I'm down to two weeks for my surgery and I can't believe it is actually here.!! Yours will come up quick to.. Good luck!!!

Waiting for the approval is horrible, but as Natalie says it does give ample time to read reviews and learn about the process ahead. Even though I was inpatient as h** I am now glad I had the extra time. Thanks to RS I learned about what bras to get for post op, scar treatment (I'll follow my PS instructions and use tape for 3 months), what things indicate trouble etc. This community has been of so much help :)
