Postoperative treatment
$6,500
I'm wondering if I should be putting anything on my breasts or taking anything to help healing? My PS just has me keeping them in the compression bra and they are so sore I don't touch them.

1 week postoperative
Well... Damn I hurt! This is tougher than I remember. Trying not to take pain Meds too much cause they have caused me problems with constipation. My stitches catch in my bra and pull, ouch! I look at my boobs and am feeling like I will need a little reconstruction later. How long after surgery can u tell if you need the lift?
I'm ready for this to be over but I'm thinking I will have to have more surgery, bummer. Hope everyone who is postoperative is doing better than me. Feel better my friends who are in this along side of me.

Saw them yesterday
Well I went to PS yesterday and they unwrapped me and changed the dressings. I also looked at them and god I sure hope they fluff out. It was just mostly skin hanging there. Freaked me out a little.
I have 2 drains and my gf is suppose to pull them out this morning if there isn't much fluid. So far the fluid has tapered off to almost nothing. I'm not looking forward to the drains being pulled out it sounds so painful. I just got to where the pain is tolerable since the PS said I could do 1 every 2 hours.
Got a little more sleep last night (3 hours). Kids aren't here being noisy.
Talk to u guys later. Thanks for everything everyone. ;)

Hi Andij. I understand how you're feeling. I saw my breasts post-explant yesterday, too. Like you, I seem to be mostly skin. However, I know that things will improve and fluff up over the coming weeks and months. I had my drains out yesterday, too. Wasn't bad at all. I hope that you can get some rest -- you deserve it!
I'm so glad the surgery went well, Andij. Remember that your breasts will change a lot over the next days and weeks. Try to focus on resting and allowing your body to heal. It's going to take some time for you and your breasts to bounce back from the trauma! Hang in there!
