WORTH IT$10,000
So my consultation with the Dr. Was on 3/16/13. Omg 2 days before my birthday. Me and my husband have been talking about surgery for a while now and I'm so happy I have his support. Not only for the surgery but because we have a 1 year old daughter that will need a lot of attention after my surgery. He is amazing, I love him. I was a small C cup and wanted a large D cup. I was so excited but scared at same time the day of the consultation. Saw the Dr. and the office manager and they were so nice and knew exactly what was going to be good for me and listened to me, my concerns and what I wanted. They took some pictures of my before breast and the the office manager took me into a private room. We spoke about pricing, spoke about the procedure and she showed me pictures of the incision being through areola. This doctors work was great. I hardly saw the scar. That was one of my biggest concerns. At the end of our conversation, I called my husband and we were both in agreement to book it. I felt so comfortable, so right to choose them. I wanted to see how early they can put me in for surgery because I had Easter vacation off from my job and it would be perfect timing. She said she will see if she can get me in for 3/29/13 omg 2 weeks, but it would be great because I wouldn't need to take off from work. So we all in agreement and book the surgery. And OMG 3/29 it was at 8:45am.

So the day was finally here my surgery 3/29/13. My husband drove me to the doctors office. Was a little nervous because never had any surgery before. But the doctor and Mikal were so calming. Having my husband there was so amazing, because he is my rock, I needed him. He was great. Had some paper work to sign, and went into the surgery room and was out in no time. My husband was by my side in the recovery room and I was happy to see his face. The Dr. Said everything went well and my breast looked amazing. Once nurse said I was ok to go, my husband helped me change. The nurse walked out with me & my husband all the way to the car and even helped me in the car. Once I got home I fell asleep right away, slept for 2 hours, woke up and ate something. I was mostly in bed, but not much pain.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful story on RealSelf. Seems like it all went so quickly and smoothly for you. What did you find to be the hardest part of your recovery? Congratulations!

The hardest part of my recovery has been not being able to really care for my 1 year old daughter for about the first week, but my husband has been an angel with everything. Taking care of her and me at the same time. I really only had pain for about a week. Then it was only a lot of soreness. Now I'm 3 weeks post op and I can't believe how time has flown by. Have an appointment tomorrow with my doctor. Just have some complains like electric shock feeling, some itchiness around my areola but other than that been recovering pretty good. Thank you for asking.

Yes, I remember that electric shock feeling and the itchiness. Nursing pads in your bra can give you some temporary relief. It will subside, but it takes quite a long time. Let us know what your doctor says!

After I had my baby my breast were not the same. I started thinking about breast augmentation. My goal was to have a good size & realistic looking breast & that is exactly what I got. I know breast don't make a person, and I know I'm amazing, but its about how comfortable you feel. Love my new boobs.
