It's only been a couple days since I started using it and I can already tell a difference. The bruising is starting to go away too!! Everyday is getting better. I just posted a before/after pic at po day 16 and a pic of my incision area. Big Difference!!

Your looking great! Glad to hear the hematoma is getting better!
Your's TT looks amazing, your surgeon did such a nice job with the scar. I am having mine in 30 days (counting down!). Must admit I am getting nervous, particularly because I have seen so many different pictures with such different results.. but your's sets my mind at ease :)
Thanks npkd. I interviewed and researched many PS's before making my final decision and was ok with paying a little more to get the right one. When I sat down with my PS, I told him what my major concerns were...the incision and muscle repair. I also brought up lipo and he flat out said I didn't need it. Anyone of the PS's could have said sure thing and try to get extra $$. He wasn't that way at all. Anyhow, you will do great with the surgery. It's not easy but is so well worth it. I have more confidence now than I ever had. My husband also admitted afterwards that he was happy I went through with it and he was against it the whole time!! Pls keep me posted and if u have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. Hugs!
Thanks MM TT - I appreciate the supportive words! :)
Wow! What a transformation!!! You look fabulous.
How are you doing girlie?

Went to my 2 week post op and the little bruising that started on my belly is called Hematoma. I think it was from my coughing episode early on because it hurt REALLY bad. I didn't think it was an issue at the time of the visit but the PS gave me Arnica and asked that I take it twice a day and massage the area daily. I hope it goes away soon!! other than that, all is well. I feel great but I have to remind myself not to push it.

I just posted my 12 day post op pics. Out of the blue, I started getting some bruising on my left side of my stomach but it was to be expected. I just can't beleive it hasn't been 2 weeks and I can already tell the swelling is slowly dissapating. I'm still very happy with the results.

Your results look great! Are u doing any scar therapy yet? I'm po day 23 & just started today
Thank you! I've not starting using scar therapy yet. Do you have any recommendations? I'm very much interested in learning more about this.
I've read that the silicon sheeting is the best. You can order it online from places like makemeheal.com Also mederma is suppose to be really good. I started massaging mine today with biooil & also got (I'll use before bed) which you paint on. It's suppose to have the benefits on scar cream but it also contains silicon & works like the strips. I brought everything at CVS for like $60.
Thank you! I'll be going to CVS today :-)
Welcome Excuse my typo in the other post. I got Scar Guard from CVS & Scar Away silicon sheeting too. I decided to go with the silicone sheeting. It comes in little strips & u put them side by side(but you can use micropore tape over it to make it all one piece). You use them for 2 wks at least 12 hrs/day then replace with new ones(take them off daily & wash & dry them). One box will probably last like 6 wks & only costs $20. Hope this helps:)
I was planning on going to CVS today and pick up the scar guard and scar away silicon sheeting but my doctor gave me "scar zone cream". Have you heard of this??
Ooh no I haven't heard of that one. I bet it's awesome if it come from your PS. I took the scar guard back & am just doing the sheeting(when I take it off before I shower & wash the strips I massage biooil on my scar). I can already tell a slight difference:) I think you'll get great results from any of these products though!
My PS swears by Queen Helene cocoa butter sticks (like big chap stick) you can buy it in ethnic hair care section of Family Dollar type stores. Smells wonderful
Hi Beautychick, I started the "scar away" yesterday and will post a pic soon but I think it's starting to work. I went to my local cvs store today and they didn't have the silicone sheets. I think I'll wait a couple weeks before using them. Btw. I saw your pics. You look GREAT! Congrats :-)
Thanks for the recommendation! How long did it take before the results started to show?
Thanks for the tip!
That was to BBGalini =) and Beautychick! =)
