I'm a mother of 3. After my 1st son it took me almost 2 years to get back in shape. I waited 8 years before having my second. That time around I was older and actually cared about what I ate so it was a little easier to get back into shape BUT my stomach was way more wrinkly!!! The 3rd baby has really thrown me over the edge!!! My children are amazing and were well worth the pain and the stretch marked, wrinkly, yucky belly but now that I'm done making babies I want a new belly. And while I'm at it I may as well get my boobs put back in their place right!?

I've scheduled my surgery for the 11th of July and I'm soooo excited!!! I'm a teacher so luckily I'll have the summer to recuperate. I'm clueless as to what I should be expecting though. What clothes/garments should I be buying? sweats? Yoga pants?

I'm getting more and more excited!! I am definitely nervous about being out all that time. I've never gone under!! I'm also nervous about the scar and how high it will be. I would hate to go through all of this and not be able to wear a two piece. lol

How long before it starts to fade anyway? I mean I'm sure it will never go away but it does lighten up some right?! I should shut up and just be happy to get rid of my flabby stomach and stretch marks!!

I can't wait to get rid of my muffin top!!

Ok!! I have my pre-op today!! I have a looong list of questions thank to all you lovely people on this site!! I haven't been able to get too excited because I was so busy with work and my kids finishing off school but school's out, kids are out and now with the pre-op, the excitement is ON!!! 11 DAYS TO GO!!

Tomorrow is the big day!! I have my before shots but I've been too lazy to post them :-/. I'm nervous but so excited. Still afraid of the anesthesia. Scared of the recovery with my kids too. Having two needy babies makes me nervous. I'm doing this though!! I should get some rest but I know I'll be up all night thinking. The past few nights I've been having strange surgery dreams. Lol

Ok so I had my surgery!! What an experience this has been!! My anesthesiologist was amazing!! She was super friendly and did a great job of putting me OUT! Lol but seriously, she did wonderful pulling the breathing tube out and I barely felt it. The nurses at the surgical center were also great. Made me so comfortable.

We got lost on the way home because my mom was following my directions but I was so disoriented from the drugs, we kept taking a wrong turn. I've never felt so loopy!!

The first 2 days were hell!! My mom was such an angel and took care of me the 1st night but due to personal issues I've been alone since. Kind of had to tough it out. It's hard to get in and out of bed. My 1st shower was scary but I did it!!

It really does get progressively better though!! Every day has been a little easier and I can do a little more. Hopefully I'll have the energy to post pics. Got to see myself some today at my follow up and I am flat!! No stretch marks and perky boobs!!

I feel the same as you nervous about being put to sleep but you will be fine I cant wait for your date and see results I am right after you july 14th is my date good luck and you will do just fine .
