I have the same issues... Wish I would have had more done. I'm 6 months out and plan on asking my doctor what to do? Did Elam say he could do a little finesse? I lived in Newport for years so always considered going with him as well. Good luck!
Your nose is perfect for your face . There's only so much a certain nose can go without looking pinched Too narrow, overdone and so on. Your face has a nice soft look . You look great!

I have to comment for two reasons 1.I still haven't had mine done because I'm scared I won't like it and 2. I think it is good to get an unbiased opinion. We don't know each other and if you came up to me on the street to ask my opinion this is what I'd say. In your before pics you are a very pretty girl but I can see how your nose is larger than your other features and not in a bad way but in a I can see you with a smaller nose kind of way. Your after pictures are beautiful and your updated photos are stunning. But if you still feel it is too large then you should change it. I have waiting my entire life to have my nose done for so many different reasons I have put it off, ie. money, then getting married, then having kids, then going back to school to be a nurse and so on. So, if you don't like it change it. But from my view you look very beautiful. I really like how narrow your bridge is and I think your tip looks refined without looking fake. I hope that makes sense. I hope to someday soon to be posting my own photos.
Nobody's face is perfectly symmetrical. I had my nose done when I was 18. I'm now 54 (yikes!). My nose isn't perfect and that has sometimes bothered me but I have never regretted my decision and I don't think anyone else really notices. I think you look great. Don't be Michael Jackson!

4 1/2 years later...

I thought I'd drop in and update this since it's been so long. I honestly still struggle with how I feel about my nose and my appearance. I am happy I had the work done but I now notice the tiny bit of asymmetry and I still think my nose is large. I have begun to realize that this is something that I will probably never fully be over. I went back to Dr. Elam and had him inject juvaderm to try and even out the asymmetry but I am still not completely happy with the results. In the last year I have started considering a second rhinoplasty...but that also seems silly at this point. I dunno, I guess what I'm saying is that even after surgery there is a strong chance you may still feel self conscience and unhappy with your appearance. I'm still so glad I did it but I sometimes think to myself that it could look so much better...first world problems, right?

If you don't mind me asking, how much did your surgery cost? And would you recommend someone getting surgery on their nose based off of what you just said in your post? Or would you recommend becoming more comfortable with what one sees as their flaw?
It was around 5k if I remember correctly. I actually was offered a discount because I found the surgeon on real self. I am still 100% happy that I got the surgery and I definitely recommend it if it's something you're sure you want to do. I guess what I was saying is you can't expect surgery to fix your insecurities completely. Even though I know my nose looks much better I think I will still always be a bit self conscious about it.

It's now been a year since my initial surgery. I am so happy with the results. Sometimes I feel like my nose is still wide/large but then I look at my before pictures and I realize how much better it looks. I love that it still looks natural and I get complimented on how cute my nose is now! Best money I've ever spent.

You are adorable, and your nose looks natural! This is coming from someone who notices rhinoplasties easily. That being said, your PS did a great job! Can't wait to feel like you do now. :D
I think your new nose looks great! I think you will be happy with it! I was teased about my nose too in middle school and some in early high school. I got called big nose and pinnochio. It stays with you forever. Congratulations on taking the plunge. I am hopefully soon to follow.
And by the way - some small imperfections are not necessarly bad thht the new nose, that just makes it look like its not a fake nose. Just focus on how much IMPROVED it is!
With the size of your nose being reduced, its much easier to notice what pretty eyes you have!
