I had a chin liposuction and general neck lift to remove my jowls and double chin, which were genetic and didn't improve with weight loss.

The surgery was done under local anesthesia and didn't require the hassles or risks of general anesthesia. It was all painless and I was very relaxed during the 2 hour procedure. The bruising was gone after a week and majority of the swelling was gone after a week as well. There's still minor swelling around the ears, but that improves over several months. Also, the nerve endings under my chin and around my ears are slowly coming back online and the numbness that they told me to expect is going away.
