There are no cons to fat transfer as it is an outpatient procedure and is permanent.

Updated on 13 Dec 2010:
The technical name is fat grafting with PRP and it is great!

Hi Huntington,

Thanks for the review, but before I add you to the Fat Transfer community page could you please provide a bit more information about your experience to fully aid our community.

1. Did you experience pain and downtime, do you have a few more details about the overall procedure?

2. What made you decide to go through with this procedure, how long had you been thinking about it?

3. What do you wish you knew before hand?

Thanks so much,

-Britt

I did not experience any pain, but there was about a week where I was very swollen. i had the Fat Transfer in my lips and the procedure was as simple as Restylane injections. I decided to do it as soon as i discovered from Dr. Sadati that it is permanent. I have been extremely happy and I just wish I had known about this procedure earlier!
