Hello ladies.... Today I am 11 days post op and I am so happy to be feeling better... As many of you the first few days, the pain was so strong I questioned what I have gotten myself into; but as they they past I am happy with they way everything is looking... I love my new full breast, no more saggy looking breast here.. My tummy is getting there the swelling is no joke... And as many of you told me the compression garment is my best friend but I have to say the binder after surgery did not let me eat of how thigh it was... Going for my first lympathetic massage later on today...

So tomorrow is my pre op appointment and I will...
So tomorrow is my pre op appointment and I will make the final payment... My recliner was delivered and is comfy... I ordered everything for scar treament because that is something that really worries me... I bought the compression garment today and dear lord.... The lady at the store help to put it on and I am not sure if I am going to be able to deal with it.... I have never like using "fajas" this is going to be the worse part for me... I just want this to be done and over....

You will do great, don't worry! I am PO 10 days and spent the entire day running errands, cooking and hanging out with my family. Recovery is NOT as bad as I had anticipated. First couple of days are rough but you are so drugged up that you don't feel or remember much. All good:). One piece of embarrassing advice- wear a thick maxi pad right after surgery- I was so drugged when I got home, I peed the bed:(. I hear this is common as usually you are cathetered when you are put under a general. Now I know why! Good luck, the results are worth it.

I don't like having tight things around my waist, so putting on my compression garment is crazy. I had it on for a few minutes the other day and although I like how everything looks all sucked in, I wonder how my insides are going to take it. I usually get a horrible tummy ache when I have something tight around my waist. Good luck at your pre-op tomorrow. I have 4 more days until surgery! YIKES!
Wow your day is around the corner... Good luck, will keep you in my prayers... I know that's the way I feel having this big surgery done and wearing something so tight... :(
I promise you that after surgery, your compression garment will be your best friend-- honestly! Even five minutes without it will feel like an eternity, and once you put it back on after being without it for a shower, you will feel so relieved to have it on! :)

Dang nichole1122 i thought I was the only one that felt like that....My PS has released me from wearing it during the day only at night... Guess what I still have it on....LOL at work
you need the garment like you need air...lol. I know I did. I felt like I "falling apart" without it. It's a pain getting in and out of it when you gotta wash it or shower, be sure you always have a helper. Don't try to do it yourself until your nice and healed. I'm 24 days po and just recently started putting it on myself. Good luck!

The excitement continues... God this is getting close i hope everything goes well for me... I finished buying everything I need well there is something else; a recliner which I am buying next week... Wish all the ladies that have surgery for next week good luck....

My MM is 4/11. I'm getting nervous too! Well, excited as well. Can't wait for it to be over and see the results!
