No More Belly! - Newark, DE

So I had my pre-op appointment on Monday and the staff is so nice. I filled out a bunch of paperwork and had to sign everything. To my surprise I wasnt that nervous. Then it came to picture time. I had to rememebr to stick my stomach out. I'm so used to holding it in lol. I didnt even bother to look at the pictures she took. I know I wouldve felt disgusted! Then Dr. Chang came in. I hadnt seen him in a year since my initial consultation. I didnt ge the warm fuzzy feeling from him like the first time we met. Not sure if it was because he was so busy or we had to get right down to business. He checked out my stomach again and saw that I had more loose skin on the sides. I showed him my wish pictures and he said that is what they are. Just a wish. Since I showed him pictures of models that probly dont have kids and didnt have stretch marks, that I couldnt get the exact same results. He pulled my skin and showed me what he could do. So reality set in that I wont have a model shape in the end but I know I will still be happy. He told me my stomach will be flat! I asked him if he could raise the scar and not cut through a tattoo I have on my hip. He asked me if i was sure about that cause then I would have to be cut the same way on the other side. I told him it was fine cause i plan on covering the scar with a tattoo anyway lol. He kept asking if i was sure! lol I rather have a scar then a beautiful tattoo with a cut right through it! lol But I am all set now folks! He reiterated to my boyfriend that it is going to be a lot of work taking care of me, the kids and the household. But I told Dr. Chang I have this all set. My parents are coming up for a week, my boyfriend is taking the next week off, then the following week is the holidays so they all will be at my house! Let's get to the flat side! 3 more weeks and counting!

Pre-Op appointment is set, supplies are bought, HR forms reviewed, vacation time put in. Now comes the waiting game once again. Time is almost near and I can not wait! I'm so anxious and nervous. I'm starting to have dreams about how the experience will be!
