I recently (about 4 weeks ago) got a small tattoo that I instantly hated. It just wasn't what I was expecting and to me just looks like shoddy work.
I want to get this removed ASAP and I've been reading that it takes longer for fresh tattoos and I'll need more session, but in general what's the comparison? How many more would I have to have with a 1 month old tattoo versus a 1 year old tattoo? Also, my tattoo is all black and relatively small (see photo), which laser would be best? I was quoted $1250/4 sessions with the picosure -- is this the best way to go? Or would it be better to get the cheaper revlite? Any advice would be very helpful!

A quick update
I have an appointment on Tuesday to discuss laser treatment using the picosure. Doctors all day great things about it, but others say it's only good for color. All this conflicting information is just giving me anxiety. I don't want to flush money down the toilet but if I can spend more money to have it off me quicker, Id rather that.
But in the meantime, Ive been looking into excision but can't seem to find a place in NYC who does it? Anyone have any ideas? I seriously cannot live with this tattoo!!

1st TX of the Picosure
Just went to my first session with the picosure - I decided to just try it and see, if it doesn't work then I'll switch to something else. They actually charged me $800/4 sessions so I think that's a pretty good deal.
I'll post pics in a little bit, but honestly it just looks a little red. Nothing special - I'm hoping in a few weeks I'll see something. I'm not expecting miracles and I know this is a long process so this is the start of my journey. =)
Also, is it necessary to keep it covered for 3 days?
