I researched several doctors but was interested in Dr. Shafer because of the reviews I had read on him. My husband and I went to the consultation together- I was nervous because the building was 'high end' and in my experience people who work in these kinds of environments sometimes treat people with a lack of respect. However, we were treated with respect and kindness from everyone from beginning to end. Dr. Shafer was personable and caring as well as his entire staff. He spent a lot of time discussing our concerns and never made us feel like we were not his first priory. His personal assistant was equally as kind and also very quick with answering e-mails or calls. This was ALL before we agreed to the surgery. Once we decided to go with Dr. Shafer, we were given an appointment as soon as possible and he was truly wonderful. My husband asks a lot of questions and can sometimes be overwhelming for people, Dr. Shafer answered every question before and after the surgery. He never rushed us out of the office or off the phone. As far as my procedure goes, I feel like a new person. My results are wonderful! I happily wear bathing suits and form fitting shirts and dresses. My self-image has shot through the roof. I highly recommend Dr. Shafer, he and his staff are wonderful and you will be thrilled with your results. Worth every single penny.
