Hello everyone, My name is Sue, i am 47 years young, i have four beautiful daughters (27,21,19,14) also four grands ranging from age 9-3..two boys and two girls. After my last pregnancy back in 1998, my stomach did go down somewhat but never flat. Yes, i had a pouch but nothing like it is today omg!!! I have gained so much weight since i got married five years ago it is crazy. I never gave much thought to a TT before i started watching Dr. Rey on Dr.90210 and that is when my self-esteem starting whispering in my ears about how wonderful it would be if only i could regain some of my old self..

So here i am searching for information on TT and low and behold i come across this website (thank god) and i have been reading and looking at the many of you that felt the same way as i do and went out there and did something for yourself, this forum has given me the courage and strength to finally admit that i am in need of Plastic Surgery but now i want it all..lol..i want breast implants, TT, liposuction on my hips and inner and outer thighs, brazalian butt-lift, juverderm, botox..and the whole nine yards. Hubby is listening to me and not understanding how i feel about my body. I don't get undressed in front of him no more because i hate my body..Is that wrong to say? I don't think so!!!

I have two consultations scheduled one on 2/27/12 and the other on 3/12/12 both are at teaching hospitals here in NYC and i am looking forward to it...They quoted me a price over the phone but only the ps can give you the exact price after he looks at you..Oh, i forgot to mention that i am presently weighing 206lbs...went from a size 8 to now a 14 or 16 not sure because i refuse to buy clothes anymore...i need to diet to loose at least 40lbs so i could be closer to where i want to be..I will keep everyone posted and congrats to those that went through the TT and good luck to those who are scheduled!

I went for my consultation at NYEE today, I was a bit anxious to say the least, arrived around 2pm (went shopping first), filled out the patient questionnaire, then waited for the doctor he was in with another patient. He came out after about 15 mins, called me and came right over and shook my hand and led me into his office. He asked the usual questions...then i had to undress put on those awful hospital gown and then he came and check where i wanted surgery done on. He stated that i would need to loose about 20lbs, stop smoking 6 weeks prior to surgery and stop taking my vitamin e and cod liver oil capsules. I asked a whole bunch of questions, asked about breast implants, lipo on thighs but sadly he informed me that because i am over 40 years old, i would need a thigh lift..(no thank you, that scar is god awful)... I will be staying in the hospital overnight and release the next day..My TT with lipo is scheduled for April 26th...No payment is needed until the day of the surgery just in case you have to cancel...I think that this price is great!!! I felt very comfortable with him and his mannerism is quite charming. The consulation price is that i was offered free botox today only..but i was nervous so i told him to save it for me next time and he informed me that this was a one time offer :-(...I am going to cancel my consultation on March 12th at lenox hill hospital..No need to look any further i found my doctor.

I forgot the price that i quoted before was without the anesthia fee...so total $4,494.00

Hello ladies, SO i started dieting on friday, just watching what i eat and cutting out chocolate is very hard for me but i am managing though. Weekend was easier than i thought it would be, i had mostly fruit and vegetables and have been drinking water like crazy. I am honestly getting anxious and this waiting is driving me crazy..but i am so looking forward to april just have to make it through my middle daughters bday..they are both in april and eight days apart (sigh)...anyhoo i am thinking of moving up the surgery to the week of april 16th, since hubby is leaving the first week in may for two weeks, i won't have anyone at home with me...i have to speak to dr.perkins to find out if that is doable. other than that everything is fine and i hope all you ladies are healing well and those getting ready for surgery..good luck!

Hello, I am pleased to announce that i have lost a total of 5lbs this week, 15 more to go!!! I am very happy about how my willpower has been this week, very determining to loose this 20lbs before april 26th..i don't want to have to reschedule my TT at all. I hope you ladies are recovering well and those going tomorrow..good luck and my prayers and thoughts are with you.

Hey ladies, Hope everyone is doing great today! It is quite lovely outside today, warm and sunny, i just had to get out of the house for a bit today! I called and made my doctor's appointment for the 21st, spoke with my ps's secretary and she told me to call them when i'm at the doctor office so that they could fax the clearance form to them. I am hoping all goes well with that...I also have to stop smoking as of yesterday, cannot take no nicotine patch, no gum, no nothing..OMG how the heck am i going to manage? I am craving a fag like crazy right now! Breathe, breathe, girl it's going to be okay!!! I hope that everyone is doing great today and coming along with the healing process. I am doing okay it is nice here so i have been out all day. Wow, i still have 42 days lefted to my new tummy...wish it would hurry up already! Weight loss is holding steady haven't been on the scale since it is usually friday that i weigh myself but hoping that i at least dropped 2 lbs, im on my period right now, so totally craving sweet and salty snacks. Anyway, just a quick hello! Take Care!!!

got on the scale today and i am now officially down to 193..Hooray!!! I took another pic of my stomach sorry about it being on the side thought that i had flipped it, oh well. Today was good, i cleaned up our closets and put up some of the heavy winter stuff and rearrange the closet. Have to buy some more pillows i realized that i only have two extra for when guest come over so i have to put that on my list also. I have not been feeling myself lately, doing a lot of research for school and trying to finish up my semester, graduation is in June i do hope that i will be healed even to attend, can't back out now since i already paid for my cap and gown...this has been a long time coming and finally i am seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. My medical appt is on wednesday and the doctor will be faxing over the clearance forms, i do hope all turns out well and then my pre-op appointment is the first week of april have to call to get the exact date. I do hope that everyone is healing nicely and those of you heading in good luck!!! Well, ladies you have a good nite until next time!

okay, so i had my doctor's appointment today, apparently the ps office faxed over the clearance form but doctor never received it...i had a 1pm appt so i called the ps office way ahead of time. I was at the docto's for over four hours having everything under the sun done since we could not figure out exactly what the ps needed...my god my mind is pounding right now...had to come home and take a motrin 800mg for some relief...i will be going to ps office for my pre-op on april 3rd...so prayers and blessing going up for me, hope that i am cleared to have this surgery..ladies going on this week good luck and hope that everyone else is healing well...I almost forgot i lost a total of 13lbs...

Hello ladies, Hope everyone is doing well! I just came back from my doctor's appt to get medical clearance and let me tell you that i was so worried that i would not be cleared for surgery, but thank god that worry was in vain..all of my best came back normal except they found blood in my urine ( but i was on my period) so i figure that was normal and the doctor told me that everything was fine. I go on April 3rd, for my pre-op nervous as heck right about now, it's been so hard with the smoking and i have been struggling with that but i must admit that i will tell my ps about that and then we will take it from there, on april 26th would be one month officially that i had stopped smoking..so i am hoping that he will do the surgery if not then we will just have to reschedule since hubby wil be leaving the first week of may for about three weeks, we will see what happens next week..Good luck to those schedule this week and those who now officially have flat tummies...Happy Healing

Well, my doctor's office called and cancel my pre-op, he's going to be in surgery all day tomorrow and the next available appointment is not until April 16th @10am. Hope everyone is doing well and those that had surgery today....Happy Healing!!!!!!

I will not be having my TT on april 26th, 2012 as planned..have to reschedule for June...I do hope that everyone is doing well...

Ladies, I really need your help on this decision...... i had to reschedule my TT...husband is traveling this month and would have not been able to be here for me and the kids are away at college..anyhoo...at your two week mark..were you able to move around okay? Were you in a lot of pain..My ps is leaving in June and i just found out yesterday that he could give me my TT on May 25th but that is like 2 weeks before my graduation and i am at a lost as what way to go..I really need advice on this.

Okay, I spoke with my Ps this morning and i must thank each and everyone of you that gave me your opinions and taking that to heart, has scheduled my TT for May 25th, 2012. My pre-op will be on April 30th, since PS will be going on vacation for two weeks in May and will be back in time for my surgery. You ladies are god sent and i really appreciate having you guys here to share this journey with and i do wish everyone happy healing and those heading in this week..Good Luck and Speedy Recovery!!!

Hey ladies, It's been a while since ive actually wrote on my blog...wow..what a week i had, so much papers to write, i was seeing doubles and many late nights also. Hope everyone is doing well and healing nicely...Okay so monday is my pre-op, wow..can't believe that may is almost here! My PS will be traveling for two weeks in may and will be back just in time for my TT, he's so sweet...My girlfriend had her brazilian butt lift on thursday, so i had to go and pick her up from the hospital and our ps told her to tell me that his staff has been following my blog! I was totally shocked to say the least, i had mention this board to him before but he stated that he could not find it...lol. Anyway, i will update once i have my surgery time!! Ttyl

Okay, so my pre-op went like this, left home with enough time to get to NYC for 10am, ending up being late due to the train traffic, arrived at the office around 10.05Am, not too bad given that my girlfriend had her post-op appointment that morning also and someone else was there also. I met Brooklyn6 and ladies i must tell you that she really does not look like her age, very sexy and confident woman, she showed me her belly and she looks lovely, i must say that Dr. Perkins did a wonderful job!!!! My girlfriend who had the brazilian butt lift just last week, it took finally her butt is HUGE!!! she is so loving it lol ..okay so now back to me.. Dr. Perkins and i actually sat around for one hour discussing the does and don't for the surgery as far as my smoking is concern that is over and done with (thank god), i received percocet and an antibiotic specially blended for people who are allergic to PCN( penaccylin) not sure of the spelling but all in all i have to stop taking vitamin e, go on a liquid diet for two weeks before surgery, he would like me to loose 10 more lbs..btw i have lost a total of drummmm rolllllllllll....15 LBS...YEAH!!!! am totally proud of me!!!!!!.... he stated that the major reason for the gas built up is because of the medication that you will be taking and also what some people eat before the surgery so henceforth the liquid diet and laxative prior so that after surgery it would not take me 3-4 days to go BM!!! He also gave me Arnica Montana for the lipo that he will be performing, he stated that he does not believe in homepathic but since i asked for it, i could try it and see if it works. My surgery is scheduled for 10.30AM May 25th...staying in the hospital one night, Excitement is starting to build up and i must say this has all worked out for the best since hubby will be back on May 23rd, and he will be home until we take our vacation later on this year..no more traveling for him. Hope everyone is doing well and healing quickly!!! Right now, i am postponing my TT that was scheduled for May 25th...I recently received the best news ever...I went on an interview on Tuesday this week and was offered the job to start on May 21st, 2012...I initially took the summer semester off for my TT and also to start back working, now i have to give up one in order to get the other...:-(
I am sad but there is a reason why my TT keeps being rescheduled so I know that it is not my time right now! Hopefully sometime in the near future i will be able to get my TT!!! Hello ladies..Hope eveyone is enjoying the summer weather. I have not been on here for a long time due to the fact that i have been working and going through a lot at home and with my health. I have officially put my TT on an indefinite hold...I recently went to my gyn for my annual check up(but first let me take you back to three years)...I was diagnosed with cyst back in 2009, had surgery to remove it, since ihave this phobia about foreign things in my body(go figure) :-)...anyhoo then one year later diagnosed with fibroids along with heavy bleeding, pelvic pain and severe cramping. My gyn (what a wonderful and understanding person) and i had a consultation in regards to the bleeding and pain, we both agreed to try the HTA procedure last spring hoping that that would alleviate the problem, so i had that done in March of 2011 thinking that just maybe i would be in the 75% not to have heavy bleeding but oh no..three months later period back with a venegance...:-(.So now, i went and did a transvaginal ultrasoud, the findings were the following two cyst attached to my ovaries and a submucosal fibroids that is in the lining of the uterus and an intramural fibroid in the wall of the uterus...i have two options UFE or Myomectomy...the ufe is done with a radiologist and then he shoots pellets in your vein to shrink the fibroids,oh and by the way the pellets stay in your body!!!! Yikesss!!!! i have a MRI scheduled for June 26th so we can better grasp the situation. I know that this a TT forum but i just need to get this off my chest, i have spoken with my mom,daughters and they are understanding but for some reason hubby is not grasping the situation to the fullest...i have become very depressed, hardly talk to anyone and the worst is that i just started this job and now i have to leave it because i will have to be at home for about two weeks...Thanks for allowing me to vent!!! Hope you ladies are all healing nicely and those going in good luck and speedy recovery!!!! I will return sometime soon...my TT (god's willing) will still be performed by my original doctor and the price will stay the same when i am ready to do it....will keep everyone informed once this chapter is finished...Cheers for now!!!!
