Hi im new to the group i am 34 years old with five kids and a stomach that i cant stand i had the lap band done 2008 i was 267 now im 170. my main concern have always been my stomach ever since i had my third child i couldnt get rid of the stomach my oldest is 17 and youngest is 2. i have no pics of my stomach when i get some i will post them. i have been wanting a TT for ever but now i can finally get it im schedule for november 22, 2012 the day after thanksgiving. i am a case manager so i sit at a desk in my office my doc say i can take 2 weeks off even a week.

Hi everyone hope all is doing well with their recovery. my pre=op testing in on tuesday I cant wait im so excited hope all my blood works come back ok i have been taking my vitamins, iron and calcium pills on a daily basis which i dont normally do I tend to forget at times but ever since I got my date for my TT i havent forgotten to take my pills. lol have a blessed day all. i would like some tips on what i shall get for my recovery stage, since

Today is the day my pre-op appt is at 1:00 pm. Hope they clear me for surgery I have been taking my vitamins, iron and calcium pills everday. So let me see how this goes. Everyone have a speedy recovery..

OMG MY DOCTOR JUS CALLED ME AND SAID PRO-OP WENT GOOD IM CLEARED FOR SURGERY. ANOTHER HE WANTS ME TO COME IN THIS FRIDAY THE 16 INSTEAD OF THE 23 OMG IM SUPER EXCITED TWO MORE DAYS YAYYYY..

Post-Op Day 1 well everything went fine with my surgery yesterday. My pain is very manageable only problem I have is nausea I have no appetite at all and every time I drink something I throw up. Throwing up hurts like hell it feels like someone is kicking me in the stomach also wen I cough it hurts other wise I'm good. Happy Healing To All :)

Post-op day 2 everything is going jus fine I took pain killers only in the hospital the nauseasness has went away only hurts wen I cough other wise my pain is manageable. Would do it all over again I hardly have an appetite. But all is well go to the doctor tomorrow drains doesn't bother me left side drains more the the right. I walk as much as I can hunch over of course. Happy healing to all.what can I eat

I jus arrived at my appt right before I left I did a BM and I had no problem going @ all. I thought I would because most people complain about going to the bathroom. I must say so far everything has been smooth for me drains dnt bother me. I'm jus blessed hope my journey continues to be this good

Hey everyone Happy Thanksgiving day 6 and still feeling grat prepared a thanksgiving feast for my family so I'm jus sitting diwn relaxing. I haven't drunk any soda or juice since my surgery only lots of water and I actually dnt miss it.

made 10 days since I had my surgery the doc only removed one drain because nothing hardly drains in there the other one he will do next monday the day I returned to work. He also took the wrap off feels good the only thing my binder is big but I'm also wearing a girdle with my binder. My stomach went down some pics coming in a few. Every time I see my new stomach I'm happy that it looks so nice compare to my other stomach. Happy healing to all

Its been 17 days since I had my tt all is well I'm currently at the clinic waiting for my 2nd drain to be remove. I also return to work today feeling good stomach is looking good its still swollen on the buttom right above my vagina.anyways good healing to all

Hi everyone its been six weeks since i had my tt im feeling well. im still wearing my binder because when i take it off i feel weird so i hurry up and put it back on. last Thursday my job had our christmas party i didnt wear my binder i wore spanx and a fitted dress i looked so good i had so many complements. i will post pics of me in my dress. Merry Christmas to all and continue with a positive and happy healing.

hi everyone today makes 8 weeks since i had my surgery done all is well still swollen with numbness on my hips sometimes when my binder is to tight i feel sharp pains on the side of my stomach. i also started taking bromelain pills today to help with swelling
