Dr. Guida - Probably the Nicest Plastic Surgeon in All of NYC

I have had multiple surgeries over the years with Dr. Guida. Family members, close friends and people that I work with have as well. In all, I probably know about 15 people that have had either their noses done, eyes done, fillers and even a couple of facelifts. Never in all of the time that I have been a patient have I heard anything bad about him, both as a surgeon and as a person. I referred another colleague of mine yesterday who went on this site to check him out and she called me in a panic because of a bad review. I had to come on, even thought I haven't been on here in a very long time just to see for myself and offer my two cents.

First and foremost, as I said, I know so many people that have had surgery with Dr. Guida. Some of them LIFECHANGING!!!! My own surgeries, (eyes, laser, facial liposuction and fillers every 6 months or so) have been nothing but perfection!!! He even stitched up my son when he was a baby because I wouldn't even think of anyone else touching my child. He is a knowledgeable and talented surgeon. Plain and simple. Look at his VERIFIED REVIEWS on this site. Verified means they are real patients with real experiences. I can only assume that if they cannot be verified, that could mean that the reviewer works for a competitor, or may even be a disgruntled ex-employee out to hurt someone. These things happen all the time. It's actually called cyber-bullying!!! Anyway, read his verified reviews and you will see everyone says the same thing--his talent is unmistakable.

I want to talk about something that outweighs his talent--something that you cannot learn in a medical textbook or even pick up over the years performing surgeries and that is his character. He is a really nice guy. I don't know how to say it any differently. He is funny and caring and just plain old nice. He listens to what you tell him.....understands when you are afraid and does his best to make you feel safe and secure. I find it so strange that someone would say otherwise. His staff is amazing. They went above and beyond for me when I had to submit paperwork for my husband's surgery and time off. CT scan appointments were made for us. I needed to reschedule my first surgery in November about 4 different times because of child care issues and it was totally fine with them. They accommodated me every single time and Dr. Guida even said that he would switch his operating days just so I wouldn't have to reschedule one more time. Who does that????

I will gladly round up pictures of myself, my sister, my niece, my best friends, 3 cousins, my son's teachers, my co-workers, 3 of my husband's co-workers, my friend's husband and her 2 daughters, my dental hygienist, my hair dresser....I can keep on going....to show you how amazing we all look and how happy we all are. I might just do that actually!!!!

In conclusion....don't take the word of one patient to make your decision. We do not know what happened in his/her case. We know nothing about the situation at hand at all. Judge not just Dr. Guida but all of the doctors on this site by the culmination of their reviews. I have to say, as much as I love Dr. Guida and have found him to be my saving grace, I cannot realistically doubt that he is 100% without fault, but if there is a bad review here and there....I have to take that in stride and weigh ALL. That being said, in ALL, Dr. Guida is tops!!!!
I'm sorry for my long post but I just couldn't leave this site without saying what was on my mind. Oh and Dr. Guida has no idea that I am writing this but if he should see this or hear of it...just want him to know that I think he is the best and I'll be seeing him soon for a little sprucing up!!!
