I've been wanting to get a breast reduction for a while now. I was approved by insurance five years ago, but got cold feet. Around this past summer I began to experience neck and back pain, more than usual because I gained 5 lbs which on a 5'0 frame is a lot. I spoke to someone that had a reduction and she recommended her doctor, who she had amazing results from. Today is the day after my surgery, and I am so happy with the results I had to post my new perky C cups. I was extremely uneven before. My left breast was a DD and my right a G cup. I can't wait until they are healed!

I'm on my third day post-op and I am becoming restless. I take pain medication that helps me sleep, but I have a hard time staying still! Ay ay ay!! I have definitely began to itch around the incision areas...and draining a bit less. They have taken on a shape of their own...lol guess it takes time for all to come together and heal... Wish I had a bit more patience. It's so exciting!

It's now been a week since surgery. I feel good. I am able to move around more. Today I slipped on a cami with a shelf bra. I had my drains out yesterday and asked for an extra dose of antibiotics. I felt like my skin was a bit warm by the incision. I am still getting sharp pains when I get out of bed in the morning, I'm assuming thats because I've been laying down for so long. Hopefully those go away real soon. Also I am feeling my stitches a lot more. I'm not sure if they are dissolvable or not. They are definitely peeking out a bit..just the sight of them make me cringe. Other than that I have been dreading catching up on school work and going back to work on Monday! Happy Thanksgiving, and happy healing!

It's been 6 days since my drains were removed, and on the 2nd day after I began to notice an odor. My spouse thought I was nuts, my mom said its from the healing. On Wednesday I noticed incision on my left breast began to open at the base. Today I sent a picture to my girlfriend who is a nurse, and she said it doesn't look good. It's gotten bigger and as per my research on the web, I may have developed necrosis! Someone please tell me this can be an easy fix, ie ointment of some sort.

My doctor saw me this morning, said I may have had an allergic reaction to the gauze!!! I was red around nipple and incisions. She said my wound at bottom of anchor was scabbing. She said it was too wary to tell if scab would fall off due to new skin grow from below or if the scab will open, in that case she would remove dead skin and re stitch. She ordered me another antibiotic and silver ointment in the case of new skin growth over scan opening. Also because I healed so quickly after the drains were removed, fluid was caught and my breasts were hard and swollen and painful. She had to pop a stitch in the right breast to drain. I feel much better now that she drained them, now it's a waiting game to see what happens with the scab :/ I will be sure to take my vitamin c religiously! My boyfriend wanted to make sure I add the fact I was crying like a baby in the drs office. In my defense it was only when she had to cut the stitch to drain me. It was just gross.
Great review?

It'll take time to heal. I had my breast reduction about 4 months ago and still on the progress. I take pictures to see my progress coming along. Take care and hope you will see the pretty result soon!
