I've wanted to get my breasts done since puberty...

WORTH IT$15,000
I've wanted to get my breasts done since puberty left me with only a size A cup. With a BA I'm aiming for a big C cup. I've never gone into surgery before and this (and fear of the unkown pain,) has been the reason I waited so long. Reading all the reviews on RealSelf and following some people's progress on has really helped me prepare myself mentally and emotionally. I hope I don't end up chickening out!

Where do I start... I have been researching breast augmentation for years but I never felt comfortable with any surgeon I met with. Enter Dr. Rowe. Dr. Rowe is probably one of the most pleasant doctors I have ever met. He is friendly and kind and has great bedside manners. He was informative, patient, and answered all my questions. I felt very confident that he was the doctor for my breast augmentation. And I was right! I was so anxious and nervous for weeks before my surgery.. All for no reason. The surgery center he performs his surgeries at employs the nicest and extremely experienced staff. The whole procedure was so quick I was in and out in 3 hours. My recovery was very smooth. I never felt any pain, just soreness, and I believe it's because of Dr. Rowes meticulous methods and techniques. He is truly an incredible doctor.

hi, what have you decided to do? Im 32 a, reimplanting in 3-6 months, 5.6 , 110 lbs. What are your stats? which shape and the like are you going for?
October 8, 2015
Right now I'm a 34a, 5'6 135 pounds. I have really broad shoulders and wide ribs so I was thinking a big C or even a small D.. My breasts are asymmetrical so when trying on sizes my PS and I decided that 350cc round smooth high profile silicone on my right and 365cc round smooth high profile silicone on my left would give me that affect. I want a really natural look. What about you?

Follow your heart but do talk to him please.
I'm sure he's going to want to explain the details himself besides. He is professional and ethical ! You're a smart woman , you have made a good choice.

I'm also wondering about your stats. I'm 5'5 114lbs and looking to go to a full C too. Looking at 400cc or up to 450cc but don't want it to look unnatural. I'm also 30 years old with kids. Your body is similar to mine so I'm excited to see your results. Good luck!

I'm doing 350cc on my right and 365cc on my left. My ps told me that would give me the full C look.. I may tell him to just do 400 and 415 since he told me there's a 20cc difference when you're trying on sizers and when they are actually inside you.

I'm super excited but also so anxious about the actual surgery and the days following. I've been following many stories on RS and everyone has a different experience. Some say the pain is unbearable and they're stuck in bed for days, and some say they are making dinner for their families the next day. Can anyone offer some insight? What does the pain level correspond with? And also, is it painful to wake up from anesthesia?

Hello, I am one week post-op, and while I'm sure everyone is a little different and things like before/after size, surgeon, methods, pain tolerance affect folks differently, I can tell you that the pain for me has never been awful. I had my surgery last Monday at 7:30am and by early afternoon I took a short (and slow) stroll in my neighborhood, and haven't needed anything more than over the counter pain relief. The first couple of days my pecs were pretty sore, but that went away fairly quickly for me and I have my range of motion back. I would say that I hope you have help with your two boys as I only have one (he's almost 6) and wouldn't be able to keep up with him without the help of my husband.
The pain is not awful, but it's uncomfortable and takes some getting used to. Assuming you gave birth to your children, you can totally do this. I'm one week out and feel much better; just waiting for the feeling to come back to my breasts and for the incisions to heal (the incisions, for me, have been the least painful part).

Good luck!

Wow thank you for this! It made me feel better. Yes I gave birth to both my children naturally so I'm hoping that has tested my chain threshold to the max. My boys are 7 and 3 and both in school till 4pm and after I'll have my husband home and helping. I know I'll be ok. It's just fear of the unkown and how I'll react to the whole change and if my body will be able to handle the pain...

You will do great!

Waking up from anesthesia is not painful, but you may have shivers which could make things uncomfortable. I'm sure you'll be drugged up with pain meds when you wake up though so I'm sure you'll be just fine! Good luck!

It's done! It was a breeze... I was worried for nothing. The anesthesiology team was amazing and next think I knew I was waking up from what felt like a deep nap. Thanks for your comment!
