We met for our first consultation, and after examining me he said that transconjunctival blepharoplasty (the less invasive procedure) would work best in my case. Not only he didn’t try to up-sell me other cosmetic procedures (unlike in other places), but also when I asked him what if I decide to do a regular blepharoplasty (again, suggested during my previous consultations) he answered with a firm “No” and mentioned that I am free to explore this option with other surgeons if I’d like but he definitely doesn’t recommend it.  By then I already made my decision and started planning the time for surgery to be able to take off work.

This is when the idea to do breast augmentation at the same time with blepharoplasty - thus saving on time I need to take off from work for recovery  - came to my mind. I scheduled 2nd consultation with Dr.Engler, and like the first time he was very efficient and helpful. I left home with a homework to do (think over all the information he gave me, as well as try on several implant sizes he suggested) and in about a week I finally made up my mind.

On the day of the surgery I was not nervous at all – on the contrary, I felt confident and excited. We went through everything once again with Dr.Engler and I trusted him to make final decision about my implants size (I was hesitating between 250 and 275cc).

Today is one week after the surgery and I feel and look great. If not for some mild residue bruising on my face (which I easily cover with makeup) and some tightness in my chest, I feel like as if nothing happened. Well, except that I look 10 years younger.

I LOVE the results of both surgeries! Dr.Engler did some magic with my eyes and simply erased the eyebags,  which I remember having since I was little and which always made me look sleep-deprived and tired. And he was so right recommending to do transconjunctival blepharoplasty – after the surgery the skin under my eyes evened out completely, without any wrinkles, and the look came out very natural.

As for the breasts, the difference is dramatic yet subtle.  I was shocked to try on my old 36B bras just to find out that they all still fit but now they finally fit how they should, making me look feminine and sexy. As we say in Russian, Dr.Engler has a “light hand”, which means that you heal well after the surgery. But even though my recovery was fast and easy Dr.Engler was checking on me regularly, calling me several times a day, and he was always there to answer my questions. I should also mention that all his staff was incredibly warm, helpful, and supportive throughout all the process.
