1 Month: I month yesterday. I'm still wearing my compression garment 24/7. I have noticed the swelling has gone down a bit but still very swollen. Also my BB still looks odd, it's very oval and unnatural but my Dr. said once my swelling goes down it will settle in nice. I just hope it's not too oval and more rounded.

April 23rd: Today has been 2 1/2 weeks and my first day at the gym. My dr told me Friday that I can start to go and do light activity. I did 20 mins slowly on the elliptical and some lighter arm weights. I also weighted myself for the first time and I didn't lose a single pound. Like I mentioned before mine was loose skin but I still thought I would lose 1-2 pounds. Also feeling SO swollen and tummy still looks awful. I have to get rid of the bikini I have on in this pic b/c it shows my scar around my hip. I used to wear them SO low, lol. Im trying not to think about it much and be patient cause that's all I can do!

Who is your PS - forgive me if I have missed it on here somewhere
thanks

Hello again. I notice a big difference from day 10 to 2.5 weeks. If the belly button bothers you after you are all healed (still give it lots of time) just get it pierced to hide it. That is what I plan on doing if I can't stand mine. I refuse to let a little something make me feel down. I love how your torso is sculpted, you look wonderful

April 17th: So tomorrow will be 2 weeks. I got my drains removed Monday, I could've had then removed Sat because my numbers were so low but I didn't notice until Friday and couldn't make it to the doctors. I'm feeling a little down about the whole thing because i feel like it opted for a huge scar to remove just a bit of loose skin and right now it looks awful, swollen, bruised and scarred. I know i need to be patient tho. Also my belly button looks freaky still, just weird but the Dr said once the swelling goes down it will look normal. I guess i didn't know that it takes months to see final results of a TT. I will try to post another pic in a week or 2. As far as pain still uncomfortable but not bad. I would say the first 3-4 days are pretty rough but after that it's just uncomfortable, also i still can't walk straight but my days since day 4 have been very active, lots of walking, going to the mall, etc.

Hi R.. I don't think anyone really knew how to fully prepare themselves for this major surgery.. I have had 3 c-sections, so I kinda knew the pain just because of being cut open.. And I do compare the two very closely.. Try to stay positive. Your body went through alot and will take months to heal fully. What you don't like today, you'll love next week.. And what you loved last week, you will hate this week but love next week! LOL, hope that made sense.. Our bodies change so much in a short amount of time and then we get impatient and want our results now! I'm one of the worst ones for that! Hang in there! :)
Aw, thanks. I had 2 vaginal's so never experiences a C. Did you have a TT? If so how long did it take for your tummy to look good? Mine looks worse then it ever did but it's been almost 2 weeks.
Yes I did.. I am 6 weeks today.. I have been very fortunate.. My BB is questionable right now but my PS said its just swelling and I will love it. My incision is higher on the right side but was also told that it will drop.. Give yourself a few more weeks.. You'll be amazed how much you will change! :)
How is it going taking care of your kiddos? I have a 6 year old, 3 year old, and 1 year old and I'm most nervous about being able to take care of the baby.
So my 4 yr is no problem cause I never have to pick her up. So my parents are picking up my 1 year old and dropping her off for me for 1 month. In the evenings my husband puts her to sleep. I feed her of course and change her diapers and clothes but def can't lift her whatsoever. If you have a 1 year old you have to have full time help for 1 month otherwise you could really do some damage.
You look great for all you've been through! Thanks for sharing your story and hang in there... you're results look to be fantastic :)
