WORTH IT
today i am three days post op i am very sore and a little aggravated not being able to move around is driving me crazy. i think ive been driving my hubby crazy with being so needy. he is such a good man . i took of my bandages and was able to take a shower felt good but im still super sore. the girls look great i cant help but keep walking by every mirror in my house . i am so tired i think its time for another nap.. be back soon

Welcome to the community.  Happy to hear you are home and resting now.  Take it very easy and be good to yourself for the first couple of weeks.  

I know what you are saying about the pill swallowing problem.  I am the same way and struggle as well.  But don't be afraid to take them if needed.  You need to be totally comfortable during recovery.

Keep us up to date and definitely post your pre and post op pictures.

thank you and i have been taking my pain meds in tea which has helped a bunch!

I had my breast reduction early today at 730 am...

i had my breast reduction early today at 730 am overall my experience was amazing. i didnt take any pain medicine at the hospital because i was just way too nauseas. the surgery ended at 1230 pm and i was back at home by 1 .so far i have only took my pain medicine once at 6 pm i have a really hard time swallowing pills no matter how small they are. but the pain honeslty is not that bad. very sore and tight feeling thats all. i had my fisrt baby five months ago and also had my gallbladder removed this january so i am no stranger to pain .

I am a 21 year old female with a five month old babygirl and a amazing fiance. my current weight is 180 i was 150 before pregnancy but it seems almost impossible to lose this last 30 pounds. Now with my new boobs and a very active baby i have alot more motivation. My bra size before surgery was a 38 ddd . i have no idea what i am now but im a lot smaller . imight even be a full b or small c but my doctor definitely made me small. even though they are suppose to be swollen they are still sooo little !!!

i appreciate her for listening to me when i said i want to be small ive had boobs since i was 7 yrs old yes 7! so this was honeslty the best decision i could have made.

i only took one nap today because my daughter has been extremely fussy even with her father trying everything its just not the same as a mommy. the hardest part is not holding her it sucks but i have a feeling i will be recovery sooner than later since its the day of mu surgery and im basically 75% ok. just relaxing on the couch watching movies. i really want to sleep but the lack of pain meds and excitement i have has been keeping me up all day.

today was a great day my advice to everyone is do your research its best to already know whats going to happen ahead of time and if u have small children i suggest for the first couple of days have someone wach them for you. sleep is veryy important for healing .

im not constipated and i dont have any drains so i dont know much about those topics. im just sore, tired and extremely excited !!
