I have always been flat chested but breast feeding four children significantly changed the shape of my breasts. I decided to go ahead with the procedure on 5th September 2015 and had 420 cc submuscular round silicone high profiles. I am currently on day six post op and my left breast has already started to drop and soften. My right breast is still riding very high and is extremely painful. I can still hardly move my right arm at all. I've been worrying about the asymmetry but am really hoping that this is due to lefty settling quicker than righty. My follow up appointment is in two days so I will know more then and will hopefully be reassured by my PS. Did anybody else experience such difference in their breasts during the immediate post operative period? I have been advised to wear my support bra at all times and also to wear the strap across the top of my breasts as tight and as high as it can go.

Hi lovely!

Hope you're well and also hoping you'll get my message.

I'm now 4 days post op with 450cc silicone unders with Dr Hardy at new Birkdale clinic, my post op pictures are almost identical to yours. Just wondering as it's been nearly two year after your op if everything evened out in the end? I too am very conscious over the assymetry. Many thanks in advance!!! [RS bleep]

Day 8

c2018095
As you can see from the above picture of day 7, my breasts are still looking very different. However, I think that the band may be helping as my right breast seems to have dropped slightly from yesterday. I'm still completely obsessing about the difference between the two of them and Monday's follow up appointment can't come soon enough! I've been very lucky and had help and support with the children all week. Today is my first day on my own with them and I have been struggling. I still can't lift my one year old but my nine year old has been amazing and been volunteering to do all lifting for me.

Oh and has anybody else experienced severe bloating? My stomach was the flattest it's been in a long time and now I can't fasten my jeans. Oh dear!

hiya, who did you get yours done with ? I live near Liverpool and have an appointment next week with sthetix. I had my first ba 8 years ago & I remember feeling really bloated, think it was all the meds x

Hi :) I had them done with Mr. Hardy. I did wonder whether the bloating might be due to the meds. I've been on codeine but have switched to paracetamol over the last couple of days. Good luck with your appointment! x

Thanks, Yours look great btw,
It's so hard to know who to go with because there are so many clinics x

Thank you. Mr Hardy was very good. I had done all my research beforehand but he advised me as to what size, profile, shape etc would suit my frame and fill out the loose skin caused by the breast feeding. I'll be really happy if they both turn out like my left one. In the meantime I've been told to keep this breast band on which is really tight and uncomfortable but I'm persevering in the hope that it will speed up the process. x

I had mine done with cosmedicare 8 years ago when they were on Rodney street, I got 280 & 260 cc (my left slightly smaller) euro silicone implants mod profile. Want to go larger if I can haha & defo want high profile this time.
I didn't get any aftercare advice after mine, do remember them taking a while to drop though but they've always seemed quite flat, maybe it's the moderate profile? Definitely want to get it right this time. Good luck it'll be worth it in the end x
