Day 34

Not much more to report. I have my follow up with the surgeon in 5 days and will be asking his advice about whether or not I'll be okay to start playing netball again. I'm missing it now and feel fine! There is still some unevenness but they are getting softer and I'm more hopeful that they'll even out once the right drops a bit more. I haven't been to get sized yet because my left is bigger than my right at the moment due to the implant position. I have had to buy a bigger sports bra though as my original one was getting tight. My sports bra is a 36 D! I haven't taken a picture for a few days so am attaching one from day 31.

The girls are dropping

I've been monitoring the progress of my asymmetry every day and it is still quite obvious. The right has started dropping more though and I'm pretty sure my left can't drop any further unless it starts to bottom out. I'm really moley and actually my moles are good indicators of how far my breasts have dropped. You can see from the day 3 comparison picture that my right breast was really close to the mole near my collar bone and it has dropped loads since then. Come on righty! Catch up with lefty! My scars are amazing. The surgeon has been so neat with them.

Still wonky :(

I'm having a bad day today. Every day I wake up and expect my right breast to be progressively catching up with my left. I know I'm being impatient but I can't help but worry that they will still look completely wonky once they both settle. I wouldn't mind a subtle difference but I just feel deformed at the moment. I'm having new answers to my question on RealSelf every day. The surgeons who take time out from their busy schedules to reply on here have been great. The majority have advised me to wait and see how my breasts settle over time, but a few of them have voiced concerns over the extent of my asymmetry. The most recent picture they have access to is day 8 though and I do feel like some subtle changes have taken place since then so I'm going to try and be optimistic. The staff at the New Birkdale clinic didn't seem too concerned when I voiced my worries on Monday but if I'm still feeling like this in a couple of days I will call them and send some pictures over so that they can review my outcome so far. I'm attaching a picture from this morning. I did sleep almost lying flat on my back last night and I'm not sure if that has caused some stiffness as my right breast seems to be higher than it was yesterday. I'll take another picture later today to check if the muscle relaxes as the day progresses.
