I had this surgery done as a way I live the majority of my life with these constant stuffy nose feeling and just thought i'll deal with it. (that what man do.Right?) After maturing and learning the importance of sleep to your all around health i pursued getting a nose surgery to improve my breathing/sleep by removing any blockage from my air way. The as my 2nd surgery as my first Dr. want to be Conservative with how mach he alter t avoid doing irreparable damage. The 1st surgery improved my breathing . This second surgery Fix my breathing -
CONS: I didn't follow timeline to begin daily flushing my nose with the saline kit provided on the day the Dr. instructed which cause annoying dry blood crusting blockage
- I need to make 4 total appt to have the surgery (consultation, briefing, anesthesiology, operation) -
- 10-14 day recovery
PROS:
- I received a ton of information on how to prepare for the procedure.
- I do not feel a "super" stuffy nose constantly.
- I did not have to wear splints doing my recovery which was MUCH more comfortable then my first identical surgery.
Dr. Ayala will not disappoint you -
Great review?
My Doctor: Carlos Ayala, MD
My rating:
Dr. Ayala is a good personable doctor with a tone of experience and his staff loves working with him.

I can only imagine how great it must feel to be able to breath freely now! I'm so glad that you decided it was worth looking into, and that you opted for a second surgery when the first didn't give you optimal results.
Are there restrictions on what you can do physically beyond the 14 day recovery period, such as do you have to wait longer to workout?
