I gained a lot of weight with the birth of my child and after she was born I worked very hard to lose the baby weight and then some. When I got to my ideal weight my stomach was extremely stretched and saggy and this is when I decided to seek the help of a plastic surgeon. Dr. Donald Griffin at the Nashville Cosmetic Surgery Center suggested I have a Tummy Tuck to remove the excess skin and repair my belly button. I was told by friends that the recovery was going to be long and painful but it was really not that bad. Recovery time was about 4-6 weeks and I had no complications along the way. The dramatic difference in the look and feel of my stomach was worth the time and mild pain.

I found Dr. Griffin through a Google search and saw that some of the reviews were either mediocre or nonexistent, but I decided to talk with him anyway. After meeting with Dr. Griffin the first time I knew he was the right choice for me. He was honest and informative. His office was immaculate and his nurse (Melissa) was sweet and reassuring. The surgery was not a decision that I took lightly and I asked a lot of questions. I called several times during my recovery to ask questions and the staff was always helpful and never rushed me off the phone. Dr. Griffin is confident, easy going, and personable. I felt like he really cared about me and my procedure and I felt at ease in his care. I am so very happy with his work. I had so much extra skin that he had to construct a new belly button in order to pull all the skin down and the belly button looks very natural. I have recommended him to family and friends and if I need any work done in the future I will return to him.
