Hello ladies!
I'm so sorry that I have been MIA since my surgery... It's crazy how time gets away from you! I am now 2 and a half weeks post op and doing great!
To recap, I had 375ccs (right) and 425ccs (left), under muscle, boob crease incisions on Jan 14th.
As I mentioned in my last post, surgery day was very smooth and the staff was just awesome. I ran out of Percocet only 4 or 5 days post op and I couldn't get a refill for 3 days! That was a painful few days and nothing seemed to help except some Advil, and even that wasn't great. I wasn't abusing or overusing the medicine that I know of... I'm not sure what happened there. Anyway, I got more and all was well. I only needed it for about the first week or week and a half.
The first couple of showers were a little rough. It felt like my implants were going to come out the bottom of my boobs, very uncomfortable and heavy. Lots of oressure, of course. Being clean was great, and putting the bra back on was a relief those first couple showers.
Now I'm to the point where I don't want to wear a bra all the time! It's driving me crazy! I'm the type that loses the bra immediately when walking in the door from work so sleeping in a bra is not fun, 24/7 bra wearing is not for me!
I saw my doc one week post-op, the same day I went back to work. It was pretty quick and simple, he said all looked good and then... Unexpectedly cut my stitches that day, too! Ouch!
I still have surgical glue on my incisions so I haven't been able to apply scar treatment, etc. One of my friends is a massage therapist and knows a lot about the body and he said I can basically rub out the scar. With time and massage, the scar tissue will almost disappear. That would be awesome. I have mederma pm to use once they are ready.
Doc said I can probably stop wearing a bra 24/7 after my 4 week appointment.
Will try to post pics soon!

Surgery day Update!
Hello again, beautiful ladies!
Well like I said, I am on the other side. I had to be at the surgery center at 6:30am and I went into surgery around 8:30am... and I was home by noon! I hardly had to wait more than 5 minutes during any of the processes. The people at the surgery center were absolutely fabulous and some of the sweetest medical staff I have encountered. They were very reassuring and told me how they would take good care of me, etc. The lady who did the IV (Tonya) was so amazing! She was an IV pro and made as quick and painless as possible. Of course, Dr. Hueneke was great, as usual... I saw him for about 15 minutes before surgery so we could chat for a bit and he could draw on me, answer questions, etc.
Right after Dr. Hueneke left the nurse came in and gave me some "happy pills" and I don't really remember much after that Ha! I remember saying goodbye to my (kinda) boyfriend as they rolled me out of that room but that's it... I don't even remember receiving the anesthesia. Then before I knew it, I was awake. The surgery itself took about 45 minutes and I spent a couple of hours in recovery waking up, etc. I was not in any pain when I woke up... just pressure like most girls say. It is a very accurate description to say that it feels like you just did the most intense pec workout of your life or tried to bench like 300 lbs or something... but not sharp pain necessarily. He ended up putting 375ccs in the right and 425ccs in the left (obviously more of a size difference there than either of us expected... him and I had both thought that 25cc difference would do the trick... but guess not!
The girls are almost 24 hours old and so far, everything is great! I have been keeping up with the pain medicine (I have percocet) and my antibiotic, those are the only meds I have. Oh and I personally have been taking arnica montana dissolvable tablets 30x. Definitely some "morning boob" when I woke up which is why I am up typing this at 7:30am. Just getting up and moving helps ease the pain a bit and of course I took a 2 pain pills when I got up. My throat was also on super fire when I woke up, not sure if they put an oxygen tube down my throat or what, but a ginger ale nipped that in the bud pretty quickly.
Now as for the look of the girls, so far from the aerial view, they look great! Will post pics later today. They are of course super high up and it feels like I have rocks in my chest they are so hard to the touch. I know this will change. From what I can tell at the moment, the size looks great. Of course, it's difficult to tell but I would imagine I will end up with a large C which is what we were going for.
Dr. Hueneke called me last night to check on me and so far everything has been smooth. I actually only slept for about 3 hours yesterday after the surgery and was eating normally... we even had chinese food for dinner. Guess it takes quite a bit to affect this appetite lol
I may have pushed myself a little too much yesterday with just doing basic tasks for myself because I was feeling so good. I just couldn't sit still and I didn't like being waited on but I need to deal with it in order to heal faster.
All in all, surgery day was just about as smooth as it could be. So far, so great! Hopefully my entire journey continues that way.

Hope this finds you healing well! I had my consult today with Dr. Hueneke and he was like you said just very personable and definitely put me at ease. I was worried about size but I felt pretty confident with the size and choosing silicone. Thank you so much for making this decision easier by sharing your journey I am very grateful!

Oh I'm so glad to hear it went well! That's funny because I was there today for my post op appointment; we may very well have passed each other! Have you scheduled surgery? Or just discussed sizing, etc? His sizing system is great and much more accurate than the rice sizers I've seen

Yes the sizers were very realistic so size-wise I feel comfortable but I am also looking at a tummy tuck as well. Because of the down time l did not schedule yesterday because my husband will need to work from home and wanted to give him a chance to look at March during Spring break. I have never had surgery before but I definitely feel at ease with him! Please take care of yourself and look forward to reading more of your journey:-) :-)

On the other side!
Hello ladies!
I made it to the other side! My surgery was around 8:30 and I was home by noon just like I thought! Everything went great according to Dr Hueneke and the staff at the surgery center. All of them were just the sweetest angel people ha seriously!
Feeling kinda loopy but not in hardly any pain at all, just pressure. Like a lot of women say, it just feels like I did the most extreme chest workout of my life.
Will update with details and pics ASAP!

Yeah, everything went really great! I would highly recommend Dr. Hueneke and his staff and the surgery center he uses at Centennial. When he called me last night, he was asking me about the staff there and how they had treated me during surgery day, etc. I told him how wonderful they were and he said that is the reason why he does his surgeries there!
All in all, so far so good! Knock on wood.
Good luck in your decision making process! I'd be glad to answer any questions!

Yeah same. Do some stuff round the house but then get tired. Feeling massive! Taking arnica and bromelain to help the swelling.
