My breasts started growing when I was 8 and seemed...

My breasts started growing when I was 8 and seemed to stop once I reached 11, which left me with an AA cup, or essentially in training bras. I got teased, ridiculed, and harassed all through high school for having boobs that were too small. I could not go shopping at Victoria's Secret or buy a bikini as an adult, because they don't make anything smaller than a size A.
I was pretty nervous going in for surgery. Anesthesia had never gone well with me, and I was worried about being put into an induced coma. Just before the surgery, I read through the entire book of possible consequences and read some online reviews and was really worried about the surgery. But I was in; I'd already paid the money and booked my time and it was time for me to go to surgery.
I'll tell you, the first week I wondered what I had done to myself. I was in so much pain after surgery that I couldn't get up from the couch without someone lifting me up. In fact, I was in so much pain that I couldn't make the stairs to my bedroom, which was why I was on the couch! My breasts looked enormous and swollen. I was pretty miserable for more than a week. Even after a month, they looked bigger than I wanted. I had been hoping for a nice B cup, and I was at a D. I had even gone smaller than the size that was recommended to me. It was pretty obvious, too...I did get people asking if I'd had implants put in. There was enough swelling to make it very obvious.
After two months, though, my strength began to come back and the swelling went down. They took on a more normal size and shape, and are what they are now, which is between a B and a C cup. They look great. Since I had very little of my own breast tissue to begin with, most of the breast feels like an implant and not like a real breast, but not many people are going to know that.
All in all, I am delighted with my experience and would recommend it to anyone in my situation. My breasts aren't perfect, but they are nice. I have one nipple that points up and one that points down, and before the surgery I was essentially flat so they did not point anywhere, but as long as I have a thick bra you can't tell, and it's not noticeable when my bra is off, since the nipples themselves are evenly placed.
So finally, it was definitely worth it and I don't regret it for a minute, although it took some adjustment those first couple of months while my body was weak from my muscles being cut and my skin and muscles were in pain from the stretching.

The staff and doctors are nice and many of the women have undergone the same surgery, so you feel comfortable knowing that the staff that is working with you trusts each other. Dr. Gervais is an excellent surgeon, though a little pretentious. That said, he has a lot of experience and did a very good job with me.
