The rating is at this high level because I want others to experience what I was lucky enough to experience. I know this is a big decision to make in a person's life and high amounts of anxiety come with it. However, I want everyone to understand the positive experience I had because it makes all the difference. I have been and will continue to recommend Dr. Tholen to others. I found Dr. Tholen's practice after reviewing many plastic surgeons on the internet. For many years I have wanted to get this procedure done but couldn't find anyone I trusted or felt good enough about to follow through with it, until I met Dr. Tholen. After speaking with him and his office, it was clear to me without a doubt I was going to make the 10 hour trip through multiple states because I knew this is where I would find the best care available. He answered all questions and concerns I had. He discussed all areas of the surgery and put my mind at ease regarding normal concerns every patient has going into surgery. The day of the surgery I wasn't nervous, I was excited!! :) Dr. Tholen and his staff were personal and knowledgeable throughout my experience with them. They all made me feel so comfortable XXXX. Before surgery Dr. Tholen re-covered all areas of the surgery and discussed size again. He had a way of approaching me so I wasn't nervous or feeling hesitant at all. I was excited and ready to complete the procedure I had been looking forward to for so many years. After surgery I woke up to very accommodating staff that took care of me until I was stable enough to leave. Before I left Dr. Tholen checked in with me again to ask about the results to make sure I was doing okay. I could not be happier about the results of my procedure. The recovery was practically painless, there was no bruising, and I was back on my feet doing every day activities in no time. I would recommend Dr. Tholen and his staff to anyone who is looking to get any type of plastic surgery complete.
