Right before I went into surgery, he asked me if I'd rather be a teaspoon smaller than what I'd like, or a teaspoon bigger than what I'd like. I was VERY hesitant towards saying I'd want anything bigger, because I wanted to make sure it looked natural. I decided to say I'd rather go bigger and I don't regret it one bit! They still look very natural and I'm extremely happy with the outcome! I went from being about a 34A to about a 34C (420cc).
This may be a little TMI...but one thing I wish I would have done differently would be to take a laxative along with the Vicodin. That was not a fun experience...trust me!

Friend referrals and Realself.com! I was referred to Dr. Tholen through a couple friends of mine, who also had breast augmentations. They both loved the work he did and highly recommended him, so I decided to go in for my consultation! I went to a couple consultations prior to this one and they lasted maybe 15 minutes. They didn't give me any details other than the difference between saline and silicone and gave me a price. Dr. Tholen on the other hand, took about a 1/2 hour explaining how the entire process works and answered every question I had! He let me try on the different bra sizes so I could get a good idea of what I'd like. He made me feel very comfortable and made sure I didn't leave without knowing everything I needed to know. I booked my appointment for a couple months later!
