Surgery is surgery and there are no shortcuts. You want the best doctor,even if it means flying out of state and incurring hotel,car rental,flights, meals and private nursing care.
Big cities like Los Angels charge more because of the high overhead of operating rooms, surgical staff and malpractice insurance. They can not provide as much personal care because of their sheer volume of surgeries they perform.
Pick an area where you have family support in an ideal part of their season. Surgery in Wisconsin during the fall foliage season was therapeutic.

My ratings reflect the complete shock and surprise at how much personal care I received from Doctor and staff. My husband could not have handled the init1al disfiguring look of surgery had I done it near my home in Los Angels. Save your family from seeing the bruising and swelling.
