Horrible toxins that compromise the immune system!...

Horrible toxins that compromise the immune system! after having 3 injections between my eye brows i developed flu symptoms , awful throat sore and swollen, cough that went onto my chest, headache i had for 2 and half weeks. The general doctors at my surgery (UK) did not know enough about botox to advise anything, the self employed nurse who did it (15units of botox so she says) practically ignored me when she realised i took a reaction. So A&E on Christmas eve was my only hope all this at the build up before and over Christmas it was totally ruined. At A&E the doctor rang a professor of the NATIONAL POISON INFORMATION SERVICE www.npsi.org (yes thats right they dont tell you this before they inject you) that he had his first patient suffering from all these symptoms for 2 and half weeks. The professor basically said its a toxin and my body is fighting it, some peoples body does not fight it so they do not get the bad symptoms i got. I literally had my head in between my knees, honestly when i was a teenager i can say the fuzzy feeling and head rushing was the same as taking a class A pill which i havent taken for 20 years!

I did not get droopy eye but my vision has been affected and the A&E doc said my left eye seemed to only have 60% vision my right was not so bad. In my nose the botox had spread to the bridge and when you get hit or knock yourself in between your eyes or your nose you get that fizzy and numb feeling..its been 3 and a half week and i still have that feeling, the headache stopped after nearly 3 weeks but i still get a mild one now and then.

The professor confirmed that any poison entering your body is going to fight and this can lead to sickness, fever, flu etc.. why is botox not banned? i can only say that maybe most people do not react or if they do they do not report it because they want to hide the fact they had botox. The main reason is money I am sure that in the health profession as with everything else money is the main focus . I was in bed for 2 weeks after botox and now into the 4th week i have not even noticed any changes in wrinkles and my forehead still feels like its been hit with a bat and i get very tired still. I am a usually healthy 37 year old with no medical problems.

Yes, Botox is a poison.

I'm so sorry to hear how sick you have been. :( Since you mentioned that you didn't see any changes in your wrinkles, do you think it is possible you were injected with something other than Botox, or do you think that you were given just enough that your body reacted badly to it, but didn't give the usual muscle freezing effect?
