My Journey to New Me! March 16th Here I Come - Miami, FL

Hi guys, I am 20 years old. I am a proud mommy to a beautiful 2 year old. I will be turning 21 in April. Most people would think 20 is a young age for a mommy make over, but I cannot stress to you how unpleased I am with the imaged my body adopted after having my daughter. I think, like all of us, I deserve this change for the better. I am aware of the pain and what I will going through with the recovery. During my pregancy I gained A LOT of weight. I went from 140lbs to 214 if not more. I am about 5'5, so i pretty much looked like a ball. I have lost all that weight, but now I am left with saggy skin in my stomach that no matter how much I work it out it will simply not go away. Pretty sad. II also breastfed my daughter and that took a toll on my my breast. I no longer remeber how they looked before i became a mommy. My hubby is the one to remind me how small and perky they were. Thankfully he is being supportive and says all he really wants is to see me happy. Anyway, I researched and looked at different prices, i looked at reviews and i ended up at the center I am doing the procedure at. I am so pleased with the doctor I picked for my surgery, he explained everything to me, he did not sugar code anything for me. He told it like it was and i liked that. I have my pre op on the 9th and then the surgery on the 16th. I am so excited and anxious. I still have tons of questions that randomly pop into my head and I am going to make sure I ask them all on the 9th. I will also post pics when I get the chance. I am looking forward to updating you all as my day approaches and after.

Less than two weeks. dieting a little to get rid of a few lbs gained over the pasted few weeks. i am wondering if i should go to the gym before work tomorrow early at 5am. i have my pre op for this friday.

Hi girls,
I finally got around to upload pictures. Not the best but you can clearly see the buldge in my belly that was left from my pregnancy. And since the light is not in my favor you cannot see the stretchmarks very well. They are pretty light but regardless they are there and I do not like them. Mostly under my belly buttom so I am hoping the TT will get rid of all of them. If you look closely you can also see the skin that has stretched and will never go back to how it used to be. I hate it -_-.
P.s my belly button looks really bad.

So i went to my pre op and it was quick. got my prescriptions and getting ready for the big day. just 5 days away. omg! I got my before pictures taken at the hospital and i almost died. how disgusting!!!! I'm not sure if the sole purpose of taking the before pics are to reassure you why you need this, if so mission accomplished! I felt terrible looking at them. ugh. good thing I'm leaving this body back and regaining my pre pregnancy body back. will update soon!

He was excellent in the way he explained everything to me. My scar is pretty low and so far so good. You can just tell he knows what he is doing. I had a great recovery.

The hardest thing will probably be them inserting the iv.... after that it's all good. You'll be on that "happy juice" and knocked out in no time. It's like any other surgery. You'll thank yourself after it's all over and done. So worth it:)
