ok so I am 26 years old and I have one daughter which is 9 years old. I have been waiting to do this tummy tuck for the past 6 years because I was trying to conceive and have another child so after years of trying and nothing and finding out I was infertile plus all the money that we spent trying and on everyone else. I finally decided its time for me to do something for myself something that would make me Happy and feel better about myself.
Now its scheduled and I am super Excited yet more nervous than ever.

Okay so today is day one post op im sorry I didn't write sooner I was groggy. So my surgery was a success I went in to operating room at 12 I loved that my ps and my anestiologist spent. An hour with me before surgery talking to me and making sure I understood the everything
Ok so when I woke up I wasnt in too much pain but when the nurse went to move me to the wheel chair I saw stars. I felt like I was going to puke n faint honstly that has been the worst part for me the feeling like im going to faint. But I got past it sorry ill write more later groggy again.

Ok sorry about earlier, I get groggy on the medicine. So right now im going threw my why did I do this phase I say phase be cause from what ive read online everyone experience. This part my body is sore and I am in pain especially the coughing thats the worse part. But I did see my tummy today and its flat I took a picture but im too exhausted to get to my lap top. You guys have to prepare yourself for the back pain. My tummy is tight and is discomfort my cut barely hurts the pain is in my back from being hunched over . Also dont think you can go threw this alone you cant u need help. Okay I am falling asleep agai. Ill try to post up the picture tomorrow morning. Sorry if I vented I want you guys to know everything.

good afternoon every one today is day 2 post op and i feel alot better.
last night i had coughing attack which hurts alot but i finally got my electric recliner which is a nessary for you to buy it is such a difference than a regular recliner or your sofa so spend the extra money because its worth it.
i barely eat i feel my tummy super tight and i get full quickly i also get heart burn after i take my antibotic.

so here is what i have learned so far hopefully my advise will help some one out there:
you will be in pain! you need help! you need an electric recliner: you need to drink alot of fluid or you will feel like your going to pass out and my toliet seems to be the best seat in my house i dont know why but i can sit completely straight on my toliet which relieves my back pain.
also my hands keep falling asleep so im constantly moving and trying to stay active to circulate my blood.

Hi everyone I just wanted to tell u guys thank you for all your comments it really lifts my spirits to read all your compliments I took more pictures today ill post them tomorrow.

So today is jan 24 post op day. 7 offically one week since my tummy tuck.
I also have a dr with ps today. I have actually seen him quite frenquently since my surgery he wants t o make sure im healing correctly.
Okay so heres a few facta I forgit to mention before.
My weigh in day of surgery was 210 today I weigh 201 I plan to ask him how much he removed In weight during the tt
Next fact that I had a tattoo over my va jay jay that I asked him to cut off and he did :)
So no more tattoo yay
Besides that I feel great a bit sore at times but most of the time im fine and I rarely have to take and pain meds just sticking to my antibotic so im very pleased just a bit swollen still.

Hi everyone so today is post op day 11 for me thishas been a roller coaster for me today they took out my right drain omg it hurt a lot I totally was un prepared for that one and to think Thursday I go back so they take out my left ughhh...although it hurt I feel better without it more comfortable.
My skin hasnt been healing great so my ps sees me every few days just to keep an eye on things which is great because I get to ask him the questions I like
Monday I go back to work and I do t think im ready yet but lets see how I feel in A few days. I am standing straighter and laying a little flatter than before I just get sore a lot and at night my stomavh swells a lot.

Sorry for all the mispellings most of the time im writing off my new phone that apparently likes to mispell instead of correct spelling lol

I cant sleep from how swollen I am right now I have been sleeping in my bed for almost a week and im so swollen im back in my recliner tonight.

Day 14 and I still have a drain in hopefully...

Day 14 and I still have a drain in hopefully tomorrow they remove it. Also my skin is healing better now thank god hopefully soon he will let me put on my cg I think that will help with my swelling. Well i plan to post more pictures soon

So yesterday I saw my ps and he told me my skin looks better and I can now wear my cg thank god since I put it on the swelling has gone down so much. Plus I have more back support im standing str8 again I can lay flat on my bed I feel good.

okay so today is post op day 25 and omg i feel so much better i am finally feeling like myself again. today was the first day i cooked again funny part is every one is so used to fending on their own no one even ate what i cooked lol i can get used to this no cooking thing. anyways this past weekend was my bday weekend and i threw a party it felt so good to finally look more like me it was the best feeling in the world to have everyone telling me how great i looked. it made it worth the roller coaster. i offically have no drains anymore so the doctor gave me the ok to drink alcohol but honestly i was too scared to throw up so i only had one drink. now i just need to find out when i can put the sillicone sheets on my scar to heal better

Im so dissapointed I gained 2 pounds ! Back to my strict diet funny part is I haven't been eating horrible I cant eat as much as I used tol I now eat portion s that kids eat small toddler portions but I do eat more frequently. I personally felt my metabolism has sped up anyone else experiencing this?

I have searched for the perfect PS and after going to many consultations a friend at work recommended Dr.Salama ( she did her TT with him) So I made an appt and went along with my mother who also has decided to get a TT as well. I went to his office and although it was completly packed I stayed and waited to meet this doctor that was so popular now I know why he is very realistic and honest he knew exactly what i wanted and explained it all to me I feel completely comfortable with him expectially after meeting with him and asking ALL my questions and concerns I KNEW he was the perfect doctor for me. I think it is normal, I am 4 weeks and 2 days I am so swollen. I didnt start to swell until last week? I droped 10lbs but I am still in the same size jeans because I am so swollen! It sucks! I do believe it will go away

Thanks I was begining to worry that I was the only onr still swelling up at night. How funny I am a month and 3days p.o lol Ive drppped 12 pounds but just gained bavk two! even with the swelling I dropped jean sizes I think its because I carried it all in the belly area. I hope after the swelling goes down u drop some pant sizes.

YOU LOOK STUNNING....suggestion and I know you are gonna think it is strange but I use organic baby food as my meal supplements. Breakfast is the hardest meal of the day so I will do those pouches from Earths Best or Ella's NOT GERBER and only the squeeze package. You would be very shocked at how good they taste and the are naturally sweetened. Just try a few strange combo. http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/baby-food-diet-review check out the review. I don t do the diet I eat my normal food and just add that for my snacks.

I started strips after i had no open wounds i think it was 4 weeks PO. After i take them off at night i massage vitamin e and every other night maderma. Ask your Dr though he might have a different answer for you, we are all so different. :)

I didn't buy anything fancy just scaraway strips. I think i payed 18.00 at meijers for them. I cut them in half to get 3 weeks out of them. I am noticing a difference in my scar already after just one week. I had what i thought a dog ear and after massaging it every night and the silicon strips during the day i am finding it's almost flat. So happy for that!!!

Glad your feeling better. It truly is a journey and a healing process that doesnt happen over nite. You look great. Im 4 weeks PO and feel great but still a lil sore, cant wait to start working out.

wow you look great!!! congrats! since having the surgery has your pants size changed? most people say no but I just cant see how not with all that skin gone. My surgery is scheduled for April 9th, I cant wait!

to be honest i have only worn jeans once and they were my old size strechy type because im scare of anything on my cut since its not fully healed yet but they were big on the waist part u see even though my waist is wayyy smaller my thighs are still big so it i need to bring those down before anything.
