POST OP day 7..and I cry everyday!!

Hi sisters!! I am 31yrs old and had a baby 13months ago.. After being homebound for 3months and not really paying attention to my weight because I was to busy being consumed with motherhood I finally looked in the mirror!! And wow I need some changes!! I am 5'6" and a little over 200lbs! The heaviest I have ever been!! Now I have never been pencil thin. I've always been known as the girl in the neighborhood with a big butt.. Since I went through puberty I was always button heavy with little boobs. But now I'm just plain chubby!! My brother even agrees LOL!! So I heard of this sx a few yrs ago but never felt I needed it. Well with my weight gain, aging and having a baby I definitely believe my body has reshaped itself!! So as of now I am new to Realself "How Yall doing"!!! I have read dozens of post and have reviewed different doctors. I really want to spend as much time as necessary researching this procedure so I can get the best results. I am more concerned with safety and side effects then anything. I have emailed Dr Jimmerson, Dr Salama and Dr P. This was only 2 days ago and as of now I have received a email back from Dr P. He seems very nice but Im not ready to make a decision as of yet. My current measurements are 38D-40-49.. I really hope to lose 25lbs before surgery because I know I have @ least 60lbs to play with. So this begins my journey to go from frumpy to sexy!! My goal measurements would be 36-32-50!! I'm not unrealistic I know this will take excersing and dieting besides the surgery. I am willing to do this. Wish me luck ladies and please give me feed back on your experiences and who you'd refer me to.. thanks ladies!!

Hey ladies ok I got a response from Dr.Salama's nurse Nancy of course their cost now is quite a bit higher than the quotes I've seen other ppl quote from him.. But I'm still so excited and looking forward to making my final decision. My main concern is my well being. Of course I want to look awesome afterward but I want to have zero complications mostly. My health is more important to me than having a huge butt because mine is already big. Also I'm really going hard trying to lose @ least 25lbs pre-surgery!! I want my body to be as close to 25lbs over my ideal weight as possible. I'm still trying to figure out how to upload pics so as soon as I figure that out I will put the pics up. I don't really have a wish pic because my butt is pretty much as big(but wider and not as shaped lol) as most of the wish pics I've seen. I just want to look the best I can. Nicki Minaj and a lot of those other woman are smaller framed then me so I can't imagine being that size because I low I'm about 4" taller than her and wil never be that little. I saw Trina in person @ the all-star games in Vegas 2007 and she looked really small next to me. I think Delicious off Flava of Love is more of an ideal of what I'd want. So anyways thanks so much for this site and please give me any info u ladies may have.. thanks

Hello ladies I'm just so stoked!! This page is really answering a lot of my questions and even thinks I hadn't thought of. I haven't decided on a Dr yet or a date but I'm thinking March or April( during kids spring break). That way I don't have to worry about if my 13yr old is getting to school on time while I'm out of town for @ least 10days. I am really taking this decision seriously so I'm definitely not gonna rush my decision. I have sent pics to Dr Salama and been corresponding with Dr Perry via email. I think they are both good drs so either one should be sufficient. The only concern I have with Dr Perry is that he doesn't use drains... Trying to massage and drain myself seems very hard and inconvenient. Ughhh so hard on the brain!!
