I'm a college junior/working part time who has been extremely self conscientious about my bum for most of my teenage years to now. I am SO excited that I finally have the opportunity to get this procedure done! I've posted a couple "before" pics :)

As of right now I've paid off $3,500 of my balance and I have $353 saved toward it. The woman who is my coordinator (Jessica) is pretty bad to be honest, (never gets back to my messages almost ever and has an annoyed demeanor when she does) and told me I cant pay in increments unless I can deposit money directly into Spectrum Aesthetics bank account, or I can pay the rest of my balance 2 weeks before my surgery date. Seems a little goofy to me, so I just decided to open up a savings account at my bank to save money in until two weeks before my surgery date.

Anyhow, I'm typing all of this out on my phone so I'll update as my surgery date gets closer. :)

You all are amazing and I can't wait to talk with you!!

How much time should you take off between work/school and surgery?

My surgery is scheduled for August 19th, and my school year starts on September 8th which is almost 3 weeks.

Do you think this is enough time to recover between the two?

Also, I wanted your ladies input, but I am scared of the actual procedure, as I'm sure a lot of people are, but I know that this is something I've wanted for going on five years now and will not quit thinking of if I don't do it. How did you comfort yourselves? I am very lucky and my boyfriend is willing to come with me and take care of me, which I know I will need tremendously. What should I do to make sure I stay healthy through the healing process also?

I love love love seeing all of your posts. And as scared as I am, August can't come soon enough.

Question for ladies going to spectrum aesthetic!

Do all patients require labs to have surgery done? Does it have to be done a certain amount of time from surgery and do you have to schedule it yourself? Thank you in advance!!!

As most people have said, Dr Omulepu is a very good doctor and the staff is horrible; however, I'm very glad I went to him. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable which I appreciated a lot. He was honest with me what he could and couldn't do. I am very happy with my results. Solid A for Dr. Omulepu On the other hand, the staff was extremely impolite and unprofessional. My anesthesiologist was taking a personal cell phone call in the middle of administering me anesthesia and had to inject the needle twicd because he didn't do it right the first time. Very scary and just not good at all. My coordinator Jessica was damn near impossible to get ahold of and when I did (the 4 times I've talked to her), seemed very annoyed. Overall, I'm very glad I went to Dr. Omulepu for this procedure.
