3 Months post

Hello Dolls. I hope everyone is doing fine on their juicy booty booty journey. Sorry for not updating sooner, work has been insane! I'v been so busy it's been ridiculous. So to update, the physical recovery was really smooth for me. I thank God for helping me with a smooth recovery. I LOOOOOOVE my results and so does my hubby lol. However to be honest with you guys, the emotional recovery was brutal. The reactions from people, especially women was not easy; I tell you , people really reveal themselves to you once you do something for yourself. I have lost friends over this, people are treating me way better. So anyways , I did not sit for 3 weeks except for the plane ride at all. I stopped taking the pain meds 4 days post op. The prescription wasn't doing anything and the percocet that one of RH sisters graciously shared with me worked but gave me the worse headaches. I went back to work 3 weeks post ops and used by Booty buddy for one week . That was a rough week so I worked from home for weeks 4 through 6, I could stand up to work at home so I did not sit during those weeks. These are also the weeks where the itching was insane. So glad I could be home to scratch myself like a mad woman. The itching was not continuous, like maybe 4 times a day for about 10mn it would be awful. All part of the recovery. At week 7 I returned to work and used my Booty buddy again for one week. At week 8 I stopped using it. I still wear my garment everyday, with my ab board all day except to shower and other things, I swell up if I don't. I also started waist training 1 week post op using the vedette valerie 929 wait cincher, I started in a large, I am now in a XS. I wear my wait trainer most of the time, even to sleep. My waist measurements before the surgery was 42 inches, it is now 28 inches. I lost some volume but my but is still amazing and it jiggles like crazy when I don't have my garment off. lol. I attribute the volume loss to my weight loss, since the surgery I lost 22 pounds without changing much. Mostly because I eat better, since I swell up like crazy and start hurting if I eat anything bad, like pizza, burgers, salty fries, and alcohol. I started working out ( push ups and upper body only ) at about 5 weeks post/ Dr Hasan truly is the man. Other than that, I think before I had the surgery my main worries were the physical recovery, but this should be nothing you future dolls should worry about, do your homework, pick an amazing Dr, and you will be fine. As far as emotional recovery, everyone is different I guess. I'm not much of a person to care what others think, I pick quality over quantity with people I let close to me, which is why their opinion mattered. I also don't like it when people get jealous of me because I think as women, society puts so much scrutiny on us, we should really be supporting each other instead of being jealous because the rest of the world tears at us constantly already. However, if people you are close to are supportive, it will be good. Speaking of supportive, although he was against the surgery and thought I was crazy and didn't need it but understood that I needed to go through this for me, my husband looooves my results. He watched endless youtube videos for the massages ( he was a massage therapist in college) and gave me massages everyday and then twice a week from the time I came back from the recovery to now.
I can't think of anything else. oh about the supplies, all you need is your garment, buy two; one your size and one 2 sizes down. Before you leave your recovery house, the one you have will be too big. some gauze or pads, hibenclens, chux and your pillow. All the other things I never used! Such a waste of money.

Post op

So the day after for my post op, I cried when I first saw my body. Even with all the blood, and swelling. For the first time in a very long time, I loved what the mirror was telling me so I was very emotional. All I can say is that Dr. Hasan is the man. I cannot stress out enough how amazing he is. If he can do this with my body. These were taken 2 days post op

Surgery DAY

Sorry for the delay. i've been super busy. I ended up having to work last weekend ( I can work remote) so I never got the chance to update. My recovery is going smooth. The only thing I wished is that I got better pain meds from my DR. at home because that Tylenol 3 is just 3 tylenols in one and once the anesthesia wore off I could feel the pain. That's okay though because I needed the clarity of mind to finish my work assignment. So surgery day, I got there at 5:20AM, the door was open. The Nurse came around 5:45AM and told me to pee in the cup. That was hard because stupid me peed before I got there. I also stopped eating and drinking at 9:00pm so I had almost nothing. So future dolls don't pee in the morning before you go. hold it. I was then taken to a consultation room and given the paper gown, anti-embolism socks , surgery slippers and hairnet. I put those on. the anesthesiologist then came in and asked me several questions. When Dr. Hasan walked in my heart skipped a beat, I got star struck for a second. lol It's crazy having so much admiration for a person and you've never met them. I loved him. He was very straight forward, which I love because I'm the type of person who always wants the truth. so he told me that I was chubby ( which was really sweet because I was way more than chubby) and explained to me the 4000 CC in Florida by law, so he explained that once he hit that 4000 ccs he would have to stop. He then explained to me that he could tell that my weight had fluctuated a lot over the years ( is he a mind reader? how does he know about my yoyo dieting) so I had some loose skin and the lipo may make it worse. he also explained to me the difference between, soft baby fat, which comes out like butter and fibrous fat, which doesn't want to come out. He said that if I had the fibrous fat I would bleed way more. After 3 or 4 days I would feel weak. he explained that the body is really forgiving, and that if I just let it take its time to heal, my hemo will naturally go back up. However, some people get transfusions ( which I did not want). After that I got taken back, they rubbed the iodine on me and then I was out like a light. I woke up shivering and the forst thing I did is say a prayer, thanking God . Then I just started calming myself down ; it's okay, control your breathing, you're okay. I then asked for my phone, called my husband, told him I was okay. Then I called my recovery house and told them I was just out. Okay, here's the kicker, Vanity only has 3 beds for recovery, so they get you out of the bed if they have a lot of patients ( because they need them) and put you in a chair where you finish your IV. So they moved me to the chair so another girl could have the bed, I was fine with it but then I started getting really uncomfortable. My recovery house nurse was there 20mn later, i didn't even finish my IV , I was ready to go so we left. I also drank a case and half of water and 4 32oz gatorades that first day. I walked a lot, I felt okay until the anesthesia wore off.

Dr. Hasan's 'bedside manner' is impeccable, he is an affable man, professional and a realist, who also offers reasonable pricing. He takes pride in his work, and truly cares; Despite vanity’s foolishness, he made me feel like a human being, not a paycheck. He obviously did this a million times and knows what he’s doing. I am thoroughly satisfied with the care from his staff especially Kayla; She is compassionate and friendly. Dr. Hasan was patient in answering all of my questions and concerns about the procedure. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Hasan.
