I'm a 59 year old male physician. I started losing my hair around age 19. Nearly 30 years ago I started using compounded topical minoxidil before it actually came on the market. In my early 40's, in the early 1990's, I started with hair transplants.with a local ENT surgeon in the Philadelphia area and then Bosley. Between them I had 4 procedures, a scalp reduction, and about 1600+ grafts. Techniques have improved immensely since then. I moved to Florida in 1997 and contacted Dr. Epstein about 4 years ago.
