HELP Decide on Hassan 2nd time around! VANITY DEBACLE! ?
Ok so I'm only one month out from my first BBL! Although I'm a little happy with my results I'm certainly not 100% happy with my results.
I feel that after all the money I spent I should be 100% happy or at least 90% happy and although I might be jumping the gun and I'm not 100% healed I still want to see what my options are going forward.
I was really expecting greater results my butt has already gone down ALOT, my waist is not as small as I want it, I have dents and dimples in my butt that were not there before :( so after reading all of the reviews on Dr. Fisher and Dr. Hassan I inquired about a consultation and information on a second round already for a couple months from now possibly after I'm done healing.
So here it begins...So I contacted vanity and I was assigned my coordinator Daniela. She contacted me via phone call and gave me all the information that I needed giving me a quote and telling me that 12 areas of LIPO were included with the BBL.
So after sending her pictures and emailing her back a few hours later the story she told me on the phone then changed. It went from one price to another, it went from a garment and three massages being included to she didn't know what I was talking about and that she would've never said three massages if she would have said anything at all she would've said either two or four. ???? Then when I said OK it's fine I'll take two massages and the garment for the price that you quoted me over the phone.
We have gone back-and-forth for days now and stories have changed since day one she said the Dr Hassan (I'm swaying more towards him) and Dr Fisher was running a 5% off special she said if I put $500 down it would lock in my price then if I put $1000 down it would lock in my date and price. The email said something completely different. She had a different price for Dr. Hassan and Dr. Fisher it then said if I put $500 down it would lock in BOTH the price and the date.
She said that if I put half down I will get $500 off my surgery. (Cash) Hmmm is this a good thing??
She said that now her manager is not approving me getting a garment or any massages and now the price is $250 more from what she originally quoted me on the phone only hours earlier. She said "oh sorry I sent you an old email that was pre filled out". Really???? When quoting my prices in the first phone call and telling me what the deposits are like I also asked her how it works with payment and refunds if I were to have to cancel. She said nothing about having to pay in only cash to get the now price she quoted me and she said my money would be refunded in full if I were to have to cancel for any reason. I was sure to ask because after reading all of the reviews on RS I was afraid that I wouldn't get my money back if I didn't make it a point to put it out there.
I also asked if I would be refunded any fees from my flight if they were to cancel or reschedule my surgery for any reason...she said absolutely yes. I'm hoping those stories havent changed now too. Im a little bummed that they there now not including garment or my massages but since I did have the surgery already I do have a couple of garments so it's I guess not so much of an issue however I think I would like to have the massages since that's what I was told in the first conversation. Oh well I guess that's not happening though ????
I was also quoted a price on a file left since I have lost 130+ pounds and again on the phone the first conversation was told a completely different price than I was only three hours later in her email confirming. So this is where my frustration lies.
I'm very frustrated and although I am excited with making this decision and possibly having surgery with Dr. Hassan I am already discouraged because of my dealings with this coordinator and the vanity office. I said to Daniela don't you think that it would be professional to honor the quote and the promises I was told in the first conversation that we had and she said "no I'm sorry we will not honor that". I am human and I made a mistake". Hmm...Ok than .
So now after all that...I have so many questions...
Do I truly need the massages? (My current surgery and surgeon did not require it and in fact he said it wasn't necessary at all)
What kind of garments does Dr Hassan use ( just trying to figure out if the ones I have are comparable) ?
Where is all the out of town/state patients staying? I'm in NY and will be traveling alone since my husband has to stay home to care for my kids.
I think their recovery house seams expensive and from what I've read not worth it but I will need a place to stay with a care taker at least for a few days I would assume.
Should I put half down in cash (funds transfer) to get the $500 off?
Also when is the balance normally due?? (I forgot to ask that question) Can I go all the way up until surgery day or day before??
What is others experiences like with Vanity, their refund procedures, prices and deposits??
Thoughts on Dr Hassan??
What's the best garment to use for first stage and 2nd? Butt out? Butt in? I like the ones that have the mesh on the butt but having trouble finding one that gives enough restriction to the stomach snd lipo areas.
I really appreciate any guidance that you gals can give me.
