I leave to Mexico tomorrow and now Dr. Campos office is saying they have not received any of my blood work. WTF! All last week I made sure everything was faxed and confirmed and now this!!!! I'm about to have a heart attack!

How much and when should I start taking my arnica...
How much and when should I start taking my arnica pellets? I already started a low sodium diet and I'm eating clean. I'm down to 125 lbs, so I'm upping my protein shake intake. I want to maintain my weight at 127-130. Also, I'm still working out (lifting weights) I'm NOT doing any kind of cardio except for walking, I want my body to be strong before surgery. Anywhoo, any advice for me would be appreciated. Can't believe in 4 more days I'll have a new and improved me.

Yes, take arnica. Just go to GNC & tell them you're having surgery & see what they suggest. Bromelein is good to.

I'm so excited my surgery is around the corner! I didn't gain as much weight as I would of like to, I'm at 127lbs which is about my normal weight. I'm pretty much all prepared and ready to go! Now, it's just a waiting game until my surgery date.
I filled all my prescriptions, here are the medications I'm taking with me:
Demerol (for pain)
Valium (anxiety)
Soma (muscle relaxer)
Keflex (antibiotic)
Transderm Scop patch (prevents nausea)
and of course I'm bringing all of my vitamins:
Iron
Vitamin A
Vitamin C
Quercetin
Bromelain
Arnica montana
Probiotics
I wonder if Dr. Campos will still charge me if I take my own meds?? Hmmm..

You're Not Mixing Demerol & Valium, are you?
My doctor prescribed demerol and valium for me. Is it not good to take at the same time?
Um, I don't think so. My dentist wouldn't give them to me. She gave them to my ex & wrote all over the bottles warning signs. Then called to ensure I was following directions. And soma's?? You trying to comatose yourself thru recovery? Docs actually want you to feel a little pain to keep you from doing to much. If you're completely numb you might over exert yourself & f something up!
I researched online just now, it sounds like it's not a good idea to mix the two, I may just use the Valium after I stop the Demerol if I need it to relax. Thanks for the heads up.
I'll show Dr. Campos my prescriptions and see what says about when to take each one. I'm having a tummy tuck with muscle repair, so my doctor thought Soma would be good after I stop taking the pain pills.

I hope not!! I'm in nursing school. I wouldn't advise that at all.

Of course. Im super excited for you :) Yes my life has really changed! It's been rough. After my surgery I looked like a hot air balloon :( my body takes forever to heal. Even with my boobs. I'm still not sure about the results. My bottom isn't that big but it will do. I'll def fill in my jeans lol. I'll be checking up on you & if you have any questions at all you have my email. It can get depressing... That's what I'm going through.
Aww.. I'm sorry your feeling depressed, but like you said it takes a little longer for you to heal and when you do ...look out! lol :) you'll be breaking all the guys necks wanting just a glimpse of you! (your husband is going to have to beat them down!) :) I'm sure I'll be emailing you a lot after my surgery because I know it's going to be a looooong recovery.
