I am a 30 year old mother of 2 ages 15 and 10. Point blank I hate my tummy. I am scheduled for june 28 and i getting nervous!!!! I didnt put a lot of thought into... A couple months ago I just said i was gone do it. So here I am. I have been reading the reviews for months and just decided to join!!

Well today is the day technically. Odd as it may seem I was more nervous the days prior to this one. I am just ready to make it to the flat side as TTers say!!!! I will be sure to post pictures but it won't be until Friday. Oh yeah my cycle decided to show up yesterday. I was like WOW you just couldn't hold off one mor day! Now I know I will be super uncomfortable.

Praise God I made it through. I am on the flat side and I can't believe it. It all happened so fast. I went in @ 8:30 for pr-op and had my surgery @ 10:00. I was in recovery @ 12:30pm. I am so allergic to morphine though. I itched all night. i mean ALL NIGHT. The pain is not that bad now. But when I woke up from the surgery it was really bad. I did not throw up at all just dry heaved once.I stayed overnight and advise anyone to do so if they can. So far it seems as if the first day of surgery is the worst. I will upload pictures probably tomorrow. Happy Healing everyone. Let's just take it one day at a time.

Hello TTers!!! I am feeling for the most part ok. I actually have a great appetite but still no BM.(i have akways had problems with my bowels though. One thing I can say is that my back hurts like hell. Yesterday was my first day home and I slept in my bed. It was not that bad either. Took a little more benadryl yesterday for all the itching. I also took a shower on yesterday to so I am batting 1000. The rest is just pain which is to be expected. My stomach already looks good though. I have a little pucker that I am concerned with at the top of my incision but they say it will all go down after the swelling. We will see TTYL.

I had my first BM today wasn't the best but I am used to that. I have slept in my bed since I have been home. Around five this morning I was able to turn on my side and get some sleep. Boy it was so much better thatn being on my back all the time. It felt like my back just aligned in a different way and it felt GOOD!. I cooked breakfast this morning(pancakes and bacon) I was hungry as usual. I took a quick half shower, I be glad when the drains are removed so I can do things right. They are not that that bad but they are a nuisance. Other than that just lounging on the couch. I am not as bent over as I was yesterday when i walk either. Everyday is a little bit better that the day before PRAISE GOD!!! Well that's all I have for now. Happy Healing:)

I drove myself to Mcdonalds today. Not too bad,, just really tire afterwards. Progressing slowly some days better than others, Post op appt tomorrow. Maybe One drain can come out. I am just so glad the whole surgery is over with!

OK catch up!!!! I got the drains removed exactly one week after surgery. Everything has been well. I returned to work and the next day I had to come home and get some rest>>> Boy was I wore out. I bought this new spanx thing for my return to work and I think it was TOO dam tight!. I was in so much pain so I got to figure out a more comfortable compression garment. I am uploading some pictures at my two weeks. Progressing pretty good,,,scar will take a little longer to diminsh (hopefully) because it was glued and not stitched. (Also for the new TTers I didn't feel a thing when I got my drains removed!!!)

I didn't know it was glue until it started peeling off and I was wondering y my incision looked different from others on here so I asked him lol an he told me that it was glue!!!! Thanks u look great also!!!!

GLAD you made it though quick and easy, I am right there with you. unlike you I am not able to eat much at all, I am starving but its like my tummy is so tight in the stomach area make me full after even 1/4 cup of mashed potatoes anything more then that and my bell aches like i over ate. its totally crazy. i guess it would be nice if it stays this way, lol like having a Gastric bypass and a tt in one LMAO

LOL, Yes hunny my appetite didn't go anywhere. I ate half a sandwich the first night and couple bites of quesadilla's(hope i spelled it right. Breakfast the following morning and the list goes on and on. I think I am probably eating to much! But I be hungry hell. When did you have your surgery?

Niggi - great you're on the flat side. Now it's about recovery. Sorry you're bored. Try surfing the net for clothese. It always seems to take my daughter's mine of things. Again, I'm hearing about the back pain. Is the pain like cramps or a little worst. Just trying to get an idea what to expect. Take care of yourself & try not to do too much. My TT is not till August. Whatever info I can get is appreciated.

I have never had cramps or labor pains in my back so it is all new to me. But it feels like it might be like a labor cramp I guess. All I know is that it is very unpleasant. But like they say beauty is pain. I am just ready to recover. I am deifinately taking itt easy. Yesterday I thought I was superwoman. I took my prescription into CVS myself to get it filled and showered alone. It caught up with me today though

I have been lying down all day except for when I go to the restroom or to change dressings n drains. etc. I will surely keep you guys posted. I soo luv this site, It has been great throughout my journey.

It is the worst part to me. I am taking my pain meds so that definately helps. I have been on the couch all morning. These days are very long when you can't do anything.

how and the hell are you moving around and lying where ever you chose? if my lift chair moves to fast i feel pain right away. and no way would i be going to get my own meds LOL my PS said I HAVE to walk like I am up to bat (bend both knees and bend over) I also can not take a shower until Tuesday and at that time its with this special cleaner... im jealous ( you are woman hear you roar!! ) :)
