I had a baby 2 years again via csection and got back down to my pre preggers weight in two months....but the baby pudge remained. I have tried every exercise workout and the fat will not budge. I decided today to go ahead and schedule my procedure. I will be having my procedure at NuBody Concepts in Memphis. I met with the head nurse about 2 weeks ago and decided to think on it. I went back today meet with the doctor viewed more before and after pics and made my appointment. I will be having my lower abs and flanks done because that's where I an holding my fat.

height-5'5
weight-153
waist right above love handles-29
lower stomach with pudge- 33.5
There is a tattoo on my lower stomach right above my c section incision. I will judge this procedure as a success if I'm able to see this without lifting my belly. lol!!!

I have learned from research that the smaller you are the better results you get with this type of procedure. The head nurse had this procedure done and she didnt have any problems with it. She told me this is strictly for body contouring on problem areas and is not to lose weight.

Picked up my 4 yes 4 prescription last night. One is the valium to take the day of the procedure to calm my nerves, a pain med, nausea pill, and the antibiotic for after the procedure. I'm still working out and I cut my salt intake to help with the swelling after the procedure.

So today was the big day. Procedure only lasted...

So today was the big day. Procedure only lasted about an hour and a half. Dr.Emerson and the nurses where great. The procedure wasn't painful just uncomfortable, mostly on the areas above my navel. I am not in any pain and have no bruising and little soreness. They took out about to liters of fat and fluid. I posted a pic about. I will post a few after pics tomorrow.

Ok im up super earlier so I decided to post. I got...

Ok im up super earlier so I decided to post. I got my girls ready for school. Thank God for their aunt she will be taking them to school for me and my husband because his work hours start before they go to school. THANK GOD FOR HELP. This morning I felt like I had been stung by a billion bees in my belly. I can see a waistline, but the lower pouch is still swollen. I took a pain pill and the pain has left. I also have been draining a lot. I have optioned to use maxi pads vs the gauze due to my draining. My compress garment isn't uncomfortable at all but I have washed it twice already due to the the constant draining. While it washes and dries I wear two pair of pantie girdles and a corset. It feels a lot better to have those on vs nothing.

What they took out. The fat is at the top. The doctor said this is a lot for me due to how I carried my fat and my body that is mostly in shape. I exercise about 3 times a week so this is what was making my small frame look off and bloated

So it's day 3 after my procedure and last night...

So it's day 3 after my procedure and last night was hard. I had nausea and terrible back pain. I'm still very swollen and taking my garment off makes me feel mushy and is painful. Not having the garment on hurts so much that i cant stand up straight. I promise as soon as I can stand up straight I will post pics. I can notice my love handles are going down but my lower belly still has lots of swelling. They did most of the work on my lower belly so maybe that's why it so swollen. Also I used a Homedic hand held massager to help with some of the pain. Good thing is I have my regular appetite but have limited it to veggies, fruit, bagels, and water.

So I'm finally updating. It has been almost 6...

So I'm finally updating. It has been almost 6 weeks(monday) since my procedure. The pics I'm posting are from 4 weeks post and I will get my doctor pic monday when i go. I still have swelling and my stomach is hard in the middle. I have soreness in my back. Other than that I have no complaints. Hopefully the swelling will be gone by the end of month 2.

So I'm 6 weeks post op and i can tell a bid...

So I'm 6 weeks post op and i can tell a bid difference in my side pics. Not so much when it comes to my love handles. The nurse told me im still swollen and 6 weeks is only the half way point when it comes to healing.

Im about 4 months out and I still have swelling...

Im about 4 months out and I still have swelling especially after working out. Anybody else having this issue?

Did they also give you meds to relax and somewhat be out of it...what about pain meds before procedure...I know some people said they got pain meds, anxiety meds, etc prior to procedure.....

The pain is not that bad. It's more uncomfortable than pain. Compared to a tattoo it hurts less to me. The after pain is ok. Hurts less than menstrual cramps but you can definitely tell you have been stuck with something. I have been up washing clothes already and plan to finish more school work later. I cant lift my 2 year old because I can feel the stress on my wounds. Also I feel better when I sleep sitting up vs flat on my back. Also I have an ottoman to keep my feet up to alleviate some of the pain.

I am in Boston area....he is a Plastic Surgeon who also performs Vaser Surgery...they think they cant get the bulk of my belly...all fat...but I am prepared for a little loose skin too. My expectations are not to look like a model...but fit in my clothes without my skin creeping ova...lol
