“TT Scheduled for 4th March So Nervous but Excited - Melbourne, Australia”
Spent: $5,000 in Melbourne , Australia
I am a 40 year old mother of four children who are 13, 11, 6 and 2. I have always weighed 120 lbs and have always got back to this weight after babies. The problem is my babies were born big - 9 lbs, 10 lb 4 , 9 lb 10 and then finally an 11 lb bubs!!! I am sure you can imagine the damage these little treasures have done to my muscles and my skin!!!!!!!
My baby turned two yesterday and I'm scheduled for surgery on the 4 th March. I will be in hospital for 4 nights and then have my Mum and husband to help when I'm at home.
This is the best site! I have been reading it for ages and your stories have been a great source of information for me whilst also being reassuring that everything I'm feeling is normal.
I have Von Willebrand disease so am going to hospital early to receive clotting factor prior to surgery. I am so nervous but excited at the same time.
Thanks to everyone on this site for a sharing your amazing stories x

ok so I am 6 days post op and thought i would share some pics with you all.
I have to admit there have been times this week when i have wondered what on earth i was doing putting myself through this! After seeing the pics i am sure you will agree the pain is worth it.
I was fortunate enough to have four days in hospital, drains out day 4 and have a very supportive family and great friends who are helping me out. My tummy feels like i have been beaten by a boxer but i am only requiring paracetemol for pain management.
Good luck to all who are recovering and to those about to

Hi Lisa,
That is cute...Little Treasures! Love it...
I think it's wonderful that you are able to in the hospital for 4 days. This surgery in the states is pretty much drive through.
Wow that is next week already; how exciting. I will be watching for your posts and pictures after surgery. Keep us up to date on your progress.
I have been thoroughly enjoying reading all of your tips and have had a good laugh at many of your stories!
I am so busy with my children that it has been great to keep my mind off the fact my surgery is coming up so quickly.
Will post before and after pics and give a report on my surgery once it's done.
Will also be watching everyones posts who are getting their TT 's in the next week.
Love this site!!!!!!!
Glad you like it! I also love it :)
I will be thinking about you and sending warm thoughts and good wishes your way for a quick recovery.
Thanks for your well wishes. Will keep you posted.
Hi Lisa,
Glad to hear you are done! Sorry you got so sick from the meds...Yuck!
Hang in there and rest up.
Was much of your fee covered by Medicare? I'm in Adelaide and I've heard you can get it covered ( the nurse told me that in Recovery after having my twins!)
I'd love to do it but my husband is really against it...and I'm so torn with the 'what if something went wrong' factor and having young kids.
Look forward to seeing your results, take care!
Will keep you posted.
Yes the twin have totally trashed my skin and the fact I am 33kgs (72 lbs) lighter now than the day I delivered them doesn't help either! My tummy looks a lots like yours. Take care!
Keep us posted and take care!
my surgery was 3-3. Had my doc take pictures before being wrapped up. Ooooo la la ... glad I asked. keeps me going. He did an awesome job. ( will post as soon as i can. only drawback were constant migraines! yuck. but my bod is smokin hot! Yup very worth it! Goc bless & good luck to all!
