Starting off with the consultation days, Dr....
The day of my procedure was a quick blur. I went over every single detail with Dr. Macias one final time to just make sure, and then into the operation room I went. I woke up before I know it, I was transferred effortlessly to the post-care facility across the street which was very nice.
I was prepared for the immense soreness I was told I would feel on my butt and back. Shockingly, the pain was totally tolerable. I feel because I am a dancer, because I am still very young, and because I exercise daily, my body was very strong. I ended up not taking a single dose of my medication for pain! I was shocked! Within hours, I was able to walk around the facility and eat a normal-sized meal.
Before I knew it I was home just lying in bed all day because the bruises and soreness were uncomfortable; I won't lie. My butt was swelled-up a whole lot and was hard which is very normal for this procedure. The Arnica cream they prescribed me was a life-saver because it reduced my bruises quite fast.
Wanting to get the best results, I didn't sit for a month solid. I was told 2 weeks the least, but the longer you stayed off your bum the better. The most important thing was to wear that undergarment suit. It acted like a bra to support my butt shape, and it even kept my weight in check. Without wearing that suit, I wouldn't have maintained the perfect job that Dr. Macias did.
I am extremely happy with Dr. Macias's work! He made me a cute little bubble butt. All of my liposuction marks are well hidden and inconspicuous. I have zero ripples on my lower back, where he sucked the most fat. He truly did an amazing job. I have no complains. He played it safe, and I am satisfied.
More than the concern about the physical outcome of the procedure, I went through a breakdown mentally. Not being able to exercise for a whole month, I felt myself gaining a llittle bit of weight which was totally against the goal for this procedure. My ideal plan was to have a nice round butt with a very slim and toned body. That is because when I lost a lot of weight last year, my butt was flat as a pancake. I had gained all my weight back before this procedure, so I was willing to diet and exercise again to lose the weight yet have a big butt.
I became a little depressed when I was lying in bed and remanied stationary for the recovery period because I was still chubby and now with a big butt. I was slowly gaining the weigh back from the places he liposcuked because I was mentally unstable at the time to diet; thus, I was eating more than I should've.
Luckily, my body was healing very fast. After the first 2 weeks, I had to go back to school, so I remember half-sitting (where I sat on my thighs with a jacket rolled up under to elevate my butt from the chair.) I remember the first time I went on a mild exercise. My lower back where he lipsuctioned was still sore. I couldn't touch my toes because I felt my skin wasn't stretchy. The exercise was still do-able. Before I knew it, I my butt was healed enough to be able to sit completely after a whole month past.
My bruises were pretty much gone after a month, and I slowly increased my exercise. Before I knew it, I was back on track.
Now I'm on the exact path towards my perfect body. I jog/hike every morning and take dance classes. My waist is very tiny from the lipo. My legs and arms trimmer and muscular. I'm pretty thin and my but is just still there forever...hopefully. Its been a few months as of now and my butt feels completely natural and one with my body. I don't even really remember how it felt during the recovery period because I feel like my natural self again.
Dr. Macias and his team rocks.
