visit post dog ears removal
Had my visit yesterday and the gauze and tape were removed. It had been covered since the revision. I was advised to keep it moist. I put mederma on it as I did with my incision. I'll be doing it once a day. I have posted pics to show

Tylenol did not work!
The first night after the dog ear removal was crazy. Tylenol did not help the pain. My eyes were watery and everything. Yup...I almost cried. Getting in and out the car kinda brought me back to the days and weeks right after my tt. Today makes 5 days since the removal and now I feel close enough to normal. I haven't seen it yet and I won't until the 14th. It has this clear plastic tape over the gauze which I'm told is to make me able to take a shower. I'm anxious to see it but I just have to be patient

Did u get prescribe pain pills to ease the pain? How do dog ears look and how are they formed
No,not for the removal. Look at my update titled ???? at 9 mths post. That's how they look. It's when the end of the incision isn't flat. Not entirely sure how they're formed. Maybe it has to do with the closure
Hi my name is Nikki and I'm having a TT do you think 6wks off is enough????
I think so because by then you're most likely to be not so hunched over. There are some people who returned to work sooner that that. Good luck!
Thanx a lot for your time I really appreciate it..I hope my TT looks as hot as yours do you look awesome even after a yr..sorry for the minor set back hope your healing continue to progress and this time it can be without a flaw...
Nikki was that the total cost of your surgery ?
$8,300
Your stomach looks great very nice job. Nikki how was the pain post op?
The pain wasn't as bad as one may expect considering what the surgery entailed. I had no pain near the incision which I guess was because that whole area was numb. Any pain I felt was my muscles feeling sore due to the repair. Coughing and sneezing was a no-no. Omg...that was horrible. The swelling contributed to a little discomfort because somedays I felt like I was gonna pop.
Damn pop. Can I ask u a question how much did I pay because in in nyc and they r expensive. I was thinking about going to get the consult to see what they tell me and much it will cost then I wanted to start saving.
Mine cost $8,300. Keep in mind that the prices vary tho. Choose a doc based on results...not price. I find that the most experienced docs charge more. I absolutely love mine. Try and schedule something with him and see.
You look wonderful. I had the TT done 1 month ago and I'm still swollen, he said he may have to do some lypo at about 6 months. Still wavering on the look. When I do my planks I still see sagging skin, so I guess time will tell. Thanks for your great postings, glad to hear that it takes time for the swelling to go down. Can't wait to get back on the dating scene, waiting till I'm more healed. :)
You're doing planks a month post op? I remember being told to stay away from ab exercises for a few mths. I was anxious to start wearing all those outfits I didn't look too right in before the tt. Take it easy, listen to your body and happy healing. :)
