This is an addition to a discussion that I had started (in the TT forum) because I could not upload photos on my forum post. So my forum post is called "Anyone have any reviews about tummy tucks at teaching hospitals?".

Well I am 26 years old and I have a 7 year old daughter and a terrible stomach! I gained almost 100 pounds while I was pregnant and completely ruined my body. I decided to loose all of my weight but was left with saggy skin. So now that my daughter is 7 years old I decided to have a tummy tuck!

I had my tummy tuck yesterday morning at Lenox Hill Hospital and it was amazing. My surgeon was Dr. Parakh and I cant tell you how much I love that lady! The attendee was Dr. Vendemia who was also great. They were both very comforting and answered all of my questions. At Lenox Hill you can choose to stay in the hospital or at a hotel across the street. I had to stay in the hospital and EVERYONE was so kind and supportive. From the lady at the front desk to the transporters to the nurses. I mean everyone. I am sorry if this blog is a little weird I am taking percocet for the pain lol.

So I am going to post some before and after pictures only 2 for now but as the weeks go by I will add more. Thanks everyone!

Hi ladies, I am doing very well with my recovery. I went back to work on Monday with one drain still in. it was a little hard and exhausting but not so bad now. Today I had my other drain taken out so I am drain free! Everything is healing great! I couldn't be happier with my results. I will try to post updated pictures tomorrow.

Hi everyone, just an update. This is week 4 post op and I am feeling great. I am still a swollen but not to bad anymore. I can finally sit up straight but if I do to many activities i will start to have to bend over a little bit but other then that I am feeling great! I just cant wait to go bathing suit shopping. Hi ladies just an update. I am finally able to go without my compression garmet however I feel like my stomach has become a bit swollen. My boss who is a dentist lol said that it's probably normal and itll go down. Does anyone know if this is normal? I just came back from California and finally wore a 2 piece for the first time in my life and it felt great! I went back to the gym yesterday and am about to go to the gym tonight also! I'll post a bikini pic from Cali also!

Everything was wonderful. I cant tell you how smoothly things ran. I thought that because I was going to a teaching hospital that things would be hectic and I would be waiting around for a while but that wasnt the case at all. My surgery was for 7:30am and I went into the operating room at 7:25am. Everyone was very comforting and nice.

Did you do lipo? I recently did my tt but I feel I should have done lipo too. I'm hoping thatsnjustbthe swelling for now. I love your two weeks post op results

aw chica, your amazing ! hola and i am hearing GREAT things around net and here on Dr.Parakh... .i had really no clue how reasonable lennox hill hospital for a tummy tuck is with such great team of the people there who help all and make you guys feel welcome i am learning so much more about Lennox well worth the price i see! i am just attempting to choose to have mi tummy tuck,FINALLY! with jacobi or lennox;Was so ready chica last year! But, i actually (had to lose more weight but then i hear i didn't even need to SMH)who knows,pero i am so going this end of may NO LATER than june and your fantastico chica,love ur "1st nite out pix"and it is really so flat! great job dr.did for you i love your pix so flat and sexxxi.good for u! . and so much cheaper here in ny/nj tri-state usually so EXPENSIVE! amazing lennox,also i know jacobi are really gettin'such great review(s) for such low cost 3-5000. only is definitely do-able for most,and god speed to u,and u again look FABULOSA! so glad your finally getting what your wanting; Life way too short not for us LADIES to be on the..." .Flat sexxxi side"in our waist area,and stomach, your fabulosa! Hey aleya lenox hill hospital the grand total was $4,800 not bad it includes overnite stay n anesthesia

So right with the price your not able to find it 1. CHEAPER imo,nor more fair, and 2. Lennox aqui en nyc/nj tri-state, mi amiga went to fla. paid just a tad bit less ( 4,400)and this was including anesthesis; and she happy,for over a year now! pero,i am most likely getting TT done at lennox or jacobi,2 consult(s)comin up with both,i finally have mi dinero$ after a year drop all weight i needed to and i am so ready! they SO REASONABLE and doing so many great TT and LIPO etc. amazing price,clearly fair.price. i can't wait! night all adios Certified Sexxxi Flat Stomach in 2013!

EvaVelez, did you decide to use Lenox Hill Clinic? You got your surgery date quickly! I saw Dr. John Kurkjian who I felt very comfortable with, but he told me I should lose at least 10 to 20 more pounds. I don't know if I will be able to do it in time before he leaves in June. He told me about his replacement who would come into his Residency slot in July. I was also quoted $4800 for the TT, lipo of the back, anesthesia and hotel plus nurse for 1 night.

Hey mia__29 for my consult I had it at the clinic on 64th street my surgery is going to be in the main hospital. Dr.burrell had told me my results would be better if I lost 10 pounds so I did it wasnt easy but I did. I think u could lose it before he leaves. My doctor is leaving by the end of this month luckily she was able to squeeze me in. Are u planning to have yours done in the hospital or clinic?

I went to the clinic, but I am not sure where to surgery will be? I am assuming it will also be in the hosptial but at the clinic rate. Can I ask how you successfully dropped the weight?

I stop drinking soda n also stopped eating bread n fried food. I also cut down on rice. Junk food as well. I started eating lots of salad n fruits.

yep i had to "Wait for mi target weight"for a year ahora. i m ready!i can't wait and i know i was then told i did not really"have to wait"to lose another ten to 25 pounds! i wish i did it a year ago pero ahora, i am so ready and good luck MIA to you if your not yet getting it done,life too short NOT to want to look how us women should be looking! i can't wait,cheapest is definitely LENNOX,jacobi,amazing results from all i see who has gone there. adios Certified Sexxxi Flat Stomach in 2013!

Hi, Amanda, thanks for posting the Lenox Hill review. I have my consult with that same clinic later this month for the same procedure. Did you also have lipo? If so, where?
