I put the surgery off for years because I was worried if it turned out messed up its actually on my face with no way to hide it or turn the clock back. A friend of mine has done extensive research on Dr. Breitbart prior to her surgery of a waist lift, breast implants and arm tuck to rid excess skin from a huge weight loss. Her sister also had a facelift surgery by him. All she could find in her research on him were the numerous articles on his unbelievable work, patents on skin graphing procedures and an endless amount of other cosmetic surgery successes like no other. Not one negative thing, anywhere! So I didnt have to do any searching...he did an amazing job on them and thats when i decided its my time and its with Dr. Breitbart. He is so nice, caring and professional. He explains in detail how the surgery will go so you can understand and feel at ease. My surgery was for rhinoplasty.
I had a bump on the upper part of my nose and although I have a thin nose with a rounded kind of tip, we discussed how he will remove the bump only because thats the part that needs to change. The thin nose with the rounded tip is "my" nose and what makes me look like the "me" everyone knows me as. He was so right! Don't "overdue" where its such a change you dont look like yourself anymore. Just removing that bump changed everything. The tip of the nose slightly lifted from a dipping down position as a result of the bump being removed.
Even if you go in for a consultation ready to make big changes, listen to what his suggestions are. The man knows what he's talking about, this is his thing, he's worked on a lot of people and he's heard it all. Trust me when I tell you if he says some things need to be left alone, he's right. Basically he fixes whats wrong. I just look better but NOBODY KNOWS why!!! If you want to have big plastic unrealistic changes that look ridiculous I suggest you find some fly by night surgeon that will do anything for your money. Don't waste his time. He's an artist in his field and I don't see him putting his name on something like that. That being said.....he's the man!

so happy to hear about your great experience! I am thinking of going with Dr. Breitbart for my nose this year hopefully, and would love to see photos of your transformation.
also, how long was your recovery? did you experience a lot of pain and bruising?
