Liposuction: Stories

I am the mother of an 11 year old, and an 8 year old, never been a sport enthusiast, but have worked out heavily since the last 2 years reducing my weight from 74 kg to 56 kg. However, my thighs have always been my problem area, right from my childhood. Never remember them NOT touching each other, or not bulging outward. always looked ugly. Tired of spending hours in the trial rooms of clothing shops trying out jeans or trousers, and finally coming out empty handed. Never knew or thought about liposuction. But my husband read about it two weeks back, and we decided to go for it. Last week I was at the doctor's for a consultation, and exactly one week later today, I am out of the hospital operated on. I was fitted with the compression garment right on the surgical table, apart from the epidural pinch, nothing hurt on the bed. But when i tried to move on my side, because lying on the back was so painful, it pained excruciatingly at the site of the holes/ injections. With the garment on, it was really messy to pee, the pee rolled down on the back even if it was done in the pan. I was alone throughout the surgery. Sometime during the day, felt as if I had to pee or poo, but nothing was coming out. It was as if everything was stuffed up inside. I started sweating heavily, and nearly fainted. B.P. went down, but started getting well when the nurses removed the pee by a syringe. However, this was because of a totally reason, that the anaesthetic had accumulated in the bladder. I was fine later, no problems. Heavily peed 5-6 times. husband came to visit me in the evening for half an hour. Had to leave because kids were at home. Today, I have been discharged from the hospital after 1 night's stay. Doctor said I can shower only after the stitches are removed, that is after another 5 days. ugghh! I am walking like an old lady, the points where there are stitches hurt excruciatingly. Getting in the car was not painful, but sitting was, because I have two stitches right on the place where the thigh meets the buttock. I lowered the garment at home for shitting, but cannot find any noticeable change from earlier, just assume the results are better in the end. the areas around the stitches are swollen ,and purple. Will be seeing the doctor three days from now. I am trying to keep my legs moving a lot, walking a lot at home. I do not want clots to form. Waiting for the day I can start exercising.
